Even loving my Aggies, no chance Trey makes this roster with the other guys at the position

Not sure how you got all that from my statement. He isn't making the roster, period. No way is he ahead of our drafted guys when he couldn't hold on to the ball in a drill and Zeke cussing him out. You can believe he is ahead of everybody but Dallas says otherwise and seeing as they make the decisions, yours don't mean jack

You don't know if he will make it or not, fumbling 1 ball in a football drill, doesn't mean he isn't making the team as you put it. So yours don't mean jack.if someone is there and see first hand what he is doing and gives a glowing opinion of him while you're not, I think they have a better sense than you.

Emmitt's the leading rusher in NFL history. This guy is on his 5th team in four years. When it comes to playing football, some things we can't measure.

Didn't say he could play like Emmitt.

Career NFL driftwood / camp-body.

Should make a fine tackling-dummy for the first-string defense to practice their run-D on.

I gotta say, ZekeCowboy is a really good sport. He's withstood all this.
You are a good lad, ZC!

I just provide articles that I believe have some merit and interest to fellow Zoners. Everybody has their own opinions. Looking forward to the preseason games.

He's almost the size of Emmitt and much faster. He's allegedly stronger with more quicks and wiggle. He plays STs. He has a chance.

He was mentioned on Inside Training Camp local show. I think it may be on the team website. That they picked him up to see if he could be the Dunbar type player they been working for. Spell Zeke and Rod on some downs as well.
So yes he may jace a chance against Bo and Darius, noe reason to think otherwise. Except for the Bo and Darius anointing fans.

Nobody said he would make it, hence him being a sleeper, but if someone who's out there is talking about the good things he's doing, who are you to say he's not doing good things, when all you can do is read. It also doesn't mean you know jack, saying a long shot won't make is really going out on a limb and illustrates your deep football knowledge.....lol

But the one real wildcard among this running back group is Trey Williams. The former Texas A&M star went undrafted back in 2015. The Cowboys actually picked him up off the Washington Commanders practice squad towards the end of his rookie season. But he would spend less than a month in Dallas before being waived.

Since then, Williams has bounced around the league playing for the New England Patriots, the Indianapolis Colts, the Miami Dolphins, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also had a stint with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.

Last November, Williams was signed to the Cowboys practice squad. He was then inked to a reserve/future contract in January. Williams has been impressive this offseason as both a running back and on special teams. Showing a good combination of his 4.49 speed and power at only 5-foot-7, 200 pounds, the native of Houston appears to have an edge over both Jackson and Scarbrough.

I just commented on him because I was surprised by his burst. But he is really short. 5'7". Wonder how he would hold up in picking up blitz. Have to believe Scar has big edge over blitz pickup but from pure burst Williams is impressive.

PSF. That means Practice Squad Floater.

Not a bad job. Don't those guys get around half of NFL minimum? That would mean like 300 grand/year. Hades, I'd fumble a couple times on purpose so I could play checkers on the PS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
