most everybody liked Jaylon, some were concerned if he would fully recover..
Concern is expressed by quotes like “I hope he heals properly so he can play up to expectations”. Not by quotes like “ he’s damaged goods. A bust. He will never heal enough to have adequate lateral movement. We wasted a pic on this gimp.” Pick up a dictionary to define what concerns really are and quit the BS.

Still stoked about Jaylon. Nerve watch were fun times around here. They went on for days and pages and now notta. I expect big things from this young man. That spin move was nasty and your leg/foot better be functional to make it look that nasty.

54 has that clear eye view!

That’s BS and you know it.
Please. On the DC.com boards (where I think you came from too), anybody wanting to take a wait and see approach with Smith was a hater who didn’t want him to succeed. Those same posters, who didn’t want anyone to have patience when it came to Jalen, were then asking for patience when Jalen struggled last year.

But, it appears with you, the only thing you see is a subject that can’t be discussed, so it isn’t surprising you couldn’t actually understand the conversations that were going on.

I didn’t say YOU said it. I said it was said by many posters. Are you denying that? You’ve never read a post calling Jaylon a bust, a waste, a gimp who’s never heal and play at an NFL level? Be honest

What about the ones calling him a gimp. A bust. A wasted draft pick who’d never play up to par? Is that genuine concern and a “wait and see” approach?

Like I said, the original guy's scenario was accurate. There were multiple opinions though. Not everybody had an extreme negative view of Jaylon Smith, just like not everyone was guaranteeing he would be a beast. There were multiple opinions that were discussed. It's just that some people want to characterize ALL posters on either side of the extreme opinions, and it worked both ways (for and against Jaylon)

I just asked a simple question Sir. Seems we all get emotional over one thing or another here on the boards. If not, there’d be far less replies to posts. I’m speaking out and against all posters who hate and dislike a Cowboys player based on personal agenda. If that doesn’t include you then you shouldn’t get emotional and debate it. Right???

I always have like smith for his personality and work ethics, but what does it matter one way or the other if "some" love or hate him.. Does beating on your chest and screaming louder than the other posters going to change anyone's opinion...

I am speaking out and against certain posters who know who they are. They demonstrate a real hatred for certain team members based on definite personal agendas. If that doesn’t include you there’s no need for us to argue. It’s that simple. There’s no denying they’re here with the bs. So what’s your point?

Who knows? It just might. Won’t know unless I try it out.

He did?...
yes because when you enter the rookie season on PUP/IR and never come off it your rookie year technically is redshirted and it didnt count.. his true rookie season is when hes cleared to play and on the active roster..similar to Gregory and his suspended time didnt count toward him earning RFA and FA.. the clock starts when you are active, he was never activated his rookie year..they knew he needed that year to heal up..

Well, I thought it was pretty obvious. Let's follow the thread:

  • A poster posted a scenario (one that you agree with because you "liked" the comment).
  • I quoted that post, indicated that it was accurate but that there were other versions. I then proceed to give an alternate example of what also occurred.
  • You called my scenario BS, as if there weren't pro-Jaylon posters who weren't radical in calling out posters who didn't have personal agendas
The fact is there are some extreme Jaylon haters (which you are here to call out) but there were also exteme Jaylon supporters who wanted to lump even moderate opinions of Jaylon in with the haters. Both types of posters are annoying as hell, doing the same thing, just on opposite ends of the spectrum.

I love me some Jaylon. I had my fingers crossed for him to recover and he's a great guy.

They gotta get Crawford out of there.

I know he is a captain but Taco and most likely Gregory are about to pass him by soon.
I know we all want to hate Crawford but he plays the run real well and we saw that in the preseason game. The great thing about depth is that it gives you the luxury of a rotation.

Crawford won’t be on the team much longer, but having him this year gives us a guy that sets the edge on first down and sets us up for 2/3&long. That’s when Taco/Gregory can make their best impact and be fresh and disruptive through 4 quarters. He’ll play a nice role for us this year and be a great transition to Taco and Randy. Also if Randy has some sort of relapse then cutting Crawford would be dumb.
