I'm a few weeks late setting up this thread, but I would like to propose this to be the official thread for this season in the Barclays English Premier League. The link below has the current Premier League table as of today. Sidenote, I'm a massive AFC Bournemouth Cherries supporter, so I'm a tad biased, haha. Up the Cherries!

Man City looks insanely stacked of course.

Chelsea is providing me a lot of joy with Sarriball. 2 solid results even with Hazard not starting and a questionable striker. Defense needs to be much better and some tweaks to the side should be coming. Kovacic and Hazard obviously need to start when they have game legs.

I don't think Jose makes it past January in Manchester. That looks rough. I loved Jose but as a guy who watched Lukaku and others get moved after Jose didn;t favor them ManU fans might hope he is gone before too many roster moves are made.

I agree with all these points, and I'm frankly of the opinion that Jose is ghastly overrated. I know he's a famous manager, but I think he is essentially the EPL version of John Gruden. Chelsea is looking like the Chelsea we all know. Man City is looking dangerous as usual. However, so far, I'm very pleasantly surprised with my favourite team, the AFC Bournemouth Cherries. 2 wins so far is really good considering that Bournemouth tends to start slow.

Liverpool should be able to kill off a game like this with a couple of first half goals. Didnt look sharp even though they dominated. Both goals down to good fortune.

I agree. For a team like Liverpool, this should have been easy as you like. Then again, I suppose one could say the same for Man U against Brighton.

Hopefully, my Cherries can take advantage of these weaknesses in these big teams. We've beaten Man U before, and it'd be delightful to top Liverpool.

Impressive comeback by my Cherries. Down 2 Nil for the majority of the game, but score on a penalty in the 74' of the match followed by the equalizer in the 78' of the match. Next fixture for Bournemouth is Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
