I hate the eagles as much as the next guy but it's funny how some of you try to de-legitimize their championship as a fluke. I told you all before and after Wentz got hurt the eagles were a serious threat to win it all. And they may be even better this season.

When your team doesn’t win you have to undermine the team that did. I guess it is a coping strategy.

Unless, of course, he can't stay healthy. That is our only chance. Otherwise they have their own Aaron Rodgers and they can shuffle the supporting cast and be a legit contender every year.

Last I checked, Aaron Rodgers hasn’t won a super bowl since 2010 - 8 years. They’re 27-21 over the past three years with two playoff appearances and they’ve won the division once.

A great quarterback can only take you so far in this league. The Eagles will be good this year, due to their defense, but next year they enter salary cap hell.

I agree on the defense....Foles played lights out like the rest of the team when Wince went down......they're putting all their eggs in the Wince basket....can he pick up where he left off? They suck Woody. Just because their D stopped the lousy Falcons from scoring to win the game don't mean squat. Again, history repeated itself AND ATLANTA didn't want to win. They have two tougher teams to play this year than the Cowboys. I betcha their D won't even show up in Tampa next week.

Hey Jinxx ! that is what I said, the defense kept them in the game and the offense finally did enough to win.
Atlanta has a pretty good defense too though.

Also the phil DC shwartz ? he doesnt get enough credit, he was one big reason they had the SB season.

Atlanta was inside the 1 and couldnt score, then late in game just like the playoff game they hold atlanta in red zone.

if their coach was marinelli atlanta wins both those games.

Wentz didnt play in playoffs or SB. If he did I think they lose the SB.

Yes, and when fans say they may be better this year, i just cant..

1. Five players in the draft...I think most after the forth?
2. Anybody worried about Dallas Goedert?
3. LOSS of Blount, Other tightend, Several other starters,
4. To believe Wentz will just shrug off a rebuild of his knee, so that he will be taking off every other series is naive at best, and that is not counting the Psycological questions he has in his mind after Foles closed it for him..
5. Although i think Jay and the other back can run some, they are no where near as automatic as Bount was..

They did projected that the cap the would go up more than it did this year. If memory serves me correct ( big if, I getting old) in two years the Eagles will have $66 million to spend and the Cowboys will have $200 million to spend. The question is will the Cowboys spend it?

That is what I mean that pretty soon they are going to have let go or renegotiate some of these contracts (Fletcher Cox comes to mind). I was trying to paraphrase an article that I read a few months back. You are right, this front office is not successful in taking players in FA.
