I said all along I will give Dak this year. And he looked bad today, but the entire offense did,
I made my comments and jokes, saying Dak sucks and all that.
But it is just game one, and wil still give him this year or maybe 8 games, who knows.

But it will not keep me from being critical of,him either.
Let’s eee what happens over the next few games.
However, he really needs to work on that accuracy, but cannthat really be improved. Maybe it is the mechanics or footwork.

I'm supporter insofar as we don't have much choice as fans. Dak's the franchise QB, we get him without input or consideration of our opinions.

So I don't see the reason for "HAHA YOU WERE WRONG". None of us got to pick. There's no poll Jerry listens to to pick the Dallas franchise QB.

But, Dak's my man as long as the team says he's so. I can't change it. I want him to succeed because I want Dallas to succeed. I don't care if I'm right or wrong, I just want wins.

Dak supporters are always here but what's funny is you guys that try to make it out like everything is his fault. I will continue to defend Dak but I also have an open mind and not an agenda to prove my way.

Dak had some bad passes yes but he also made some very good throws as well. Problem is you guys only want to talk about negatives and skip over any positives. Some passes by that were bad was bad mechanics. Some of the bad passes is when the interior OL allowed guys in his face and he couldn't step into his throw. He needs to play better but so does everybody on offense, it's not just Dak and if you're only blaming Dak then I question your football IQ

It's because they have an agenda, so they ignore everything else except the bad.

I have been in Dak’s corner. Today was a dumpster fire— no doubt. Everybody on offense can take some blame.

This was a road loss against a good defensive team. Reminded me of the Denver game last year— despite the score being closer overall due to the solid effort of the defense.

Good thing it was only one game. Will be interesting to see how they play going forward.

Was it rust and new personnel playing together for the first time? Was it bad playcalling? Was it getting matched up against a good D w/o Frederick in the lineup? Was it just bc Dak sucks as a QB?

We will know more next week. Was this an aberation or a reality? For me— Dak gets this season to show us who he is. His first game went about as poorly as it could have gone :(
They did look like a team who hasn't played much in the preseason. There was a thread this week that asked which player had the most pressure, and I said Dak because of what things look now.

They are mostly quiet

Tyron Smith played

Ezekiel Elliot played

Dez didnt play

All last year, i heard that these 3 players were used as excuses as to why he sucked.

Now lets hear what they come up with

I’m not writing off Dak totally yet, although I can’t blame the people that are. For the life of me I can’t understand why a guy with the experience of Brady plays significant snaps in the preseason and we only trot out our young guy and revamped receiving corps for a handful of series total. When Belicek is doing something drastically different than you are, you really should ask yourself why.

I'm giving him some time too. I knew that offense would be rusty with all those new WR's but he doesn't look like he's improved from last year.

Romo is the that actually had no scheme and no OL and Jason Garrett was his OC and the latter couldn’t run the ball and Red Ginger didn’t even allow Romo in game-planning decisions..

Let that sink in when you consider what Romo was working with..

OL was average today, but would like to see some throws downfield. If he could throw them they would call them. Something needs to change because while Dak has a lot positives, defenses are able to make Dak play to his weaknesses right now.

I wanted him to do well and get back to his 2016 form for the sake of the team. But, if he doesn't get better or improve this season then I'm open to moving onto a QB who can get the job done. I'll admit today was discouraging as a Dak supporter, but others are also correct when they say he isn't the only problem.
