Don’t give up, next 4 games are all winnable

The Giants are traditionally a good run-plugging team. I think it'll take much more than a good running effort to beat them. If our passing game doesn't improve greatly, winning will be highly difficult at best for this offense to carry its weight. The defense can only do so much to make up for the offense's miscues. Hopefully, the play calling could improve a lot as well. To quote my son: "on a good note, the water boy was "Johnny on the spot."

Most other teams find a way to get their star rb involved in the passing game. We often take our guy out and make it even more clear we are passing.

The Panthers seemed to know exactly what play we were running often. I think Ray Lewis said this like 5 years ago about our team’s offense.

The Giants corners played well. Normally I would say it was just Bortles but we just have Dak.

Their pass rush isnt the same. Their o line is awful across the board. But Eli is better than Dak and we generally suck at home.

This Dak friendly offense better be in full flow next week. But at this point I have no idea what that is other than a no Dak offense.

5-11 is my official season prediction. We will get 1-2 wins against a very tough opponent in there and everyone will think we have a real chance. We aren't going anywhere with Dak behind center. Welcome to the land of three consecutive 5-11 seasons again. Cowboys will need to bring in a veteran QB and draft a new QB next year.

I think the Cowboys can win any of the next 4 games.
Maybe they can win all 4 and be 4-1
win 3 and be 3-2
at worst, hopefully lol they win 2 and are 2-3.
The Giants lost today, havent seen their game yet, but now both teams will be desperate to win
next week.
Dallas is at home, so no travel and maybe they can play better on offense and win.

The good thing about today was the defense proved they are going to be good, they
had the goal line stop and turnover , and kept dallas in the game to the end.

What was bad was the play calling and game plan, and no spy on Cam was just plain stupid.
It was Cam taking off on runs that helped Carolina keep drives alive and get their offense going.

Also Elliot only had 15 carries lol and that is just plain stupid too. it should be 25-30.
He is their best weapon and they dont know how to use him.

But all that said I still think Dallas can beat any or all of the next 4 teams

Yesterday's game was winnable too, but Garrett and Linehan are masters at figuring out ways to lose.

yeah I know dak was off target on some throws.
Thing is we didnt run any slant passes, or any crossing routes, dallas is afraid to use the middle.
but throwiing the sidelines and some of these other passes are harder and take longer.
The way dak is coached , and the way plays are called , game plan etc dont help him at all.

Kinda felt like the only 1st downs gained on anything other than screens were slants to Beasley across the middle. He had 4 or 5 go for ~10 yards

Are you kidding me! the Cowboys never had a chance. One play was it! the TE was wide open and Dak under throws him. Dak looked horrible and anyone making excuses for the Cowboys terrible play has to be working for the organization.

We had at least 5 drives that included 1 and 20, 2nd and 20, or 3rd 13. Missed fg, missed pass, dropped Int.

They are winnable, but it's pretty clear if something doesn't change that we're not going to be a contender this year. Our offense isn't good enough to put up enough points against good defenses. Now, we're without Frederick, our starting left guard has a lot to learn and our passing game could sort itself out, but right now, we don't have enough offense to support that defense when playing other good defensive teams.

The next 3 are arguably winnable. But I don't expect to go into Houston and win there. With Clowney, Watt, and that other maniac running around out there, Dak will be running for his life all game.
