Kris Richard

What I'm seeing is AGGRESSION.
I hate the 12 yard cushion CBs give up when all the opponent needs is 4 yards.
Fact is, I hate the Tampa Two, Bend, don't Break philosophy and the only thing the "Prevent" defense does is prevent yo butt from winning.

This topic, and the obvious influence that a coach like Richard has, only reinforces my personal belief that the prior coaches and staff - and extension of the current head coach - is what is holding this team back. Just like the defense is showing, the player talent is there. It's only now that Richard is here that that talent is put to its best use.

Meanwhile, all of the coaches charged with coaching the offense - top to bottom - are failing in their responsibilities. Despite a team stocked with first round picks and Pro Bowlers, the Cowboys offense currently ranks 30th.
in a league with so much parity in talent and only relatively small gaps between the top teams, coaching is more important than EVER. ol Barry could never win a SB in the current NFL...

Seems like the transfer has already begun. I get the impression that at this point Rod likes coaching defensive linemen more than being a DC, and he's letting Richard takes on more and more responsibility.

I don’t think Rod gets a say.

Richard was hired for one reason. Run the defense.

I can't warm up to this guy because he phased out Jourdan Lewis.

We need to go a few rounds in the cage first to get that out of my system and then maybe. If there's anything left of him.

That seems healthy. Powerless coordinators are a sure sign of an emerging contender.

What got Rod in this mess was last season....

The 5 defensive collapses did it. Remember the Thanksgiving game?

They kept him b/c of his contract.

But Richard is for real.
