Anyone else feeling meh?

posts like this make me sick! Back in my boy scott days we would have taken your bike and kicked the spokes out for such talk. Shear discuss. Quitters.

I still tune-in and hope for the best but this is just not an exciting team to watch. I am getting more enjoyment from these younger QB's in fantastic offenses, specifically the Rams, Chiefs and Browns(not that their offense is anything).

Our defense is the only thing of note and seeing if that group can continue to grow.

The Cowboys season is not over. They are only 1-2 and 1 game back in the NFC East. Why are you giving up so easy?
Have you seen our QB play? I have always been the eternal optiist with this team. ....... this season is OVER. I said it before the Seattle game. The Seahawks suck, and if we are decent, we beat them. We didnt come close to a sorry Seattle team.

Yes, I have seen the offensive play. It sucks. But it's only 3 games with all new WR's, new TE's, a rookie LG and new coaches. It takes some time. You have quit after only 3 games. That is sad and an insight into your character.

I laugh at those "it's only the QB lacking" comments. Was it Dak's fault Zeke dropped a perfectly thrown crossing shallow pass that would have allowed the Zeke to convert a key 3rd down? Heck, Zeke would have gained big yards since the whole sideline was wide open. Was it Dak's fault Zeke did not know where the sideline was while stepping out of bounds prior to catching a throw along the sideline which Zeke took to the house for what should have been a TD? Was it Dak's fault Zeke got the ball stripped and lost after running for a huge gain late in the 4th quarter and in scoring position? Was it Dak's fault receivers were struggling to get open early, running deep developing routes where they were running straight to the DBs and getting covered while Dak was sacked 5 times and constantly under pressure due to poor pass protection? Was it Dak's fault Linehan refuses to get more creative, call more RPOs and quick hitting pass patterns to help Dak counter the constant pressure and poor pass protection?

Nah, it's much easier just to blame Dak. It's all Dak's fault. Just throw it up in the air, Dak, even if it gets intercepted. Just throw it deep even if no receiver is open. Who cares about turnovers. Let's just please the antsy clueless fans. Have at it. Smh

I am in my 50's and have for all my life looked forward to football season and the cowboy game each week. Today I'm on the zone looking for something to believe in. I see stories of JJ saying we are like the rams. I roll my eyes at the joke that this seems. Does he really believe that or is he just trying to pump up a tired fan base?

I read JG saying that nothing major is changing on the offense. Boy the guy really knows how to pump you up . Linehan says that Dak needs to start slinging it. I get the point about him playing up tight but I feel like you need to do something to help him out so he gets protection to sling it. I feel like we will run the same crap and hope he can man up and somehow become Romo.

I see rookie QB after rookie QB getting setup to succeed by their coaches. Then I look at Rush who looked great last year and now looks alot like what Dak looks like running this offense.

All of this leads me to feel meh. I'm caring less than I ever have and I hate it. Come on Cowboys give me SOMETHING to believe in on offense and think the future will be better than the current.

I completely agree the best post I have read in the last two weeks. I sure hope they do something good tomorrow or else I will have to write this season off and go and cheer for my second team the chiefs.

It is a huge disappointment to watch this maudlin season after so much hype and personnel change. The only thing not changing is the game planning. What the hell happened since 2016? SMDH. Give Dak a chance and game plan to his strengths. Even a bus driver needs a mechanically sound bus.

Why should we care? They don't. Haven't they proven that building a winner isn't Job 1?

The other side of this is I gave up caring about losses because the players don't seem to care. There's more passion for this team from posters here than those players but we chose this team, they didn't. This is a job and it's good to remind ourselves of that.

I grew up watching the players take losses a lot harder than these guys today do. It's just become business to them and I am really dispassionate about watching business.

I can't argue with you here. But l can see Romo wanting to do something else sooner or later. I don't want to say he'll get bored with broadcasting, but he may want to stay closer to home as his children grow. I'm not exactly saying home will be Texas either...

Yep in a few years maybe but it had to be hard walking away as a QB. I doubt that scar has healed yet. I could see it in 5 years maybe. What would that make him 43-45 somewhere?

Oh the cold hard reality of football the business

Insight into my character? Screw YOU. I don't play for the team. Darnold is,working with all new receivers, as is baker mayfield....didnt seen to impact baker throwing the ball to all those "new," receivers.

Dak sucks. Last year what was the excuse? He didn't have new receivers.

It's always been said a team is a reflection of their coach. I believe that's a very true case in Dallas. With no accountability of the HC, none is really being asked/shown by the players. It shows in preparation, scheme and execution. While not a Dak fan/supporter, he only goes as far as scheme and coaching is taking him. It makes for stale, lackluster performances that's turning off a big portion of the fan base. I won't be all doom and gloom and say they're done, but to say this team has any chance or expectation of playoffs is a pipedream. Hopefully JJ and Stephen take notice and make a change for the better after this season
