They used them on first and second.

That’s why we were able to snap the third down and run it from 30 seconds to around 4

Yeah,he’s done well so far. That’s an enoumous amount of pressure he’s under,replacing one of the games best kickers. I don’t expect him to make every kick,but I’m happy for him to nail his kicks today. One miss in this game,and they are looking at 1-3 right now.

So proud of him. If he had any jitters before, he quelled them today.

 

[Verdict]

The organization showed brass balls by cutting their pro bowl level kicker for a newby. It was the right move based on recent history. Bailey's best days are probably behind him. It's good to see the franchise being proactive.

This move ranks right up there with cutting Dez as one of the better moves made by the organization in recent franchise history.
