The truth: Jerry would rather oversee our failures than let someone else oversee our success. So he'd like to win, but he doesn't want it that bad. Clearly.

Yeah, he'd go from riches to rags and do everything under the sun to win...except for the 1 thing that has the best chance at winning. Removing himself from the equation and staying in the owner's box.
