There's only one group that didn't show up to discuss it. Guess which one. And LOL at you trying to be condescending by stating you are discussing facts and the future like you are all having some high level of conversation while not having the same argument over and over. That's hilarious.

When Dak said he didn't need a WR1 that was his uck up. But, he was right cause if a Top 3 WR was in DAL Dak still couldn't get him the ball.

He said that because he played with a #2 WR (Dez) in 2016 and had success.

Stating he did not need a #1 WR did not mean getting rid of a #2 WR for a bunch of #3-#5 WRs.

It is on the receivers too due to communication issues... It is a collective or team effort.

“Hurns said sometimes it's a protection issue, sometimes it's a receiver not winning his individual matchup or not catching a contested pass.

Even right guard Zack Martin said Tuesday the communication has to be better. Hurns added that he missed two signals from Prescott on plays in Sunday night's loss at Houston.“

Most of these issues can be resolved with better WRs and TE who work during and after practice with Dak.

I don't disagree. There's a lot that goes into every play. Sometimes a receiver doesn't turn up or pull up when the QB expects him to. Sometimes they don't read the defense the same way. The QBs get blamed in those situations.

I will be surprised, though, if Austin or Thompson were expected to do anything differently on the two routes that resulted in interceptions. It wouldn't have made sense on either route since both had a trailing defender. If Austin tries to turn upfield, it allows the defender to undercut him. If Thompson works back toward the middle of the field, it allows Joseph and the safety to converge on the pass.

If Dak leads either of those receivers to the outside, it's an easy completion and possibly a TD for Austin.

I can’t say it enough. It’s a COMBINATION of factors:

QB: Dak CAN win, although he’s not as good as Romo was.
OL: Not as effective with a rookie at LG, and a backup at center.
WR: 3 or 4 JAGs and a Rook, with not enough TC reps
OC & HC: Don’t call plays that take advantage of personnel’s skill set.

I'm not saying Romo would, I'm not calling for his return. I'm saying the average fan is not liking Dak right now, he is not playing well - we are all watching this games, we see the simple things he struggles with.

He sucks, man haha

And I'd debate any of these "ex-whatevers" about this and destroy them just like I have every other Dak lover the past 2 years.

Maybe he wasn't the problem (debateable) but he definitely wasn't part of the solution

what does it matter he can't even hit stationary targets? how's he going to hit moving targets. I guess him and jason need to play some more competition target practice for the novices after practice?

if I'm the jaguars defensive coordinator, I would take a few 15 yard penalties roughing up Dak. Once he gets hit it's over, he can't see the field the rest of the game. The same thing defensive guys use to do to Dez. Talk crap to him and take him out of his game. So just hit Dak a couple good shots and it's over, pretty simple game plan.

It's already time to move on. This team needs a better long term solution at QB.

Romo wasn't as good as Romo was on his 3rd year, just saying

FACT Romo would make all these WR/TES better, he was that good Ask guys like Austin and Robinson amongst other guys even HOF Witten and the 73 TD in Dez in his heyday Romo made them all , they all went downhill when Romo left or they left Romo..Romo owns all the Cowboys passing records for reason, he was a great QB, maybe not elite but dude was a pure passer and made his teammates better, period..

796 yards in 13 games is not #1 WR level

Hopkins currenrly has 594 yards in 5 games.

....796 yards on a run heavy team. Watson has thrown 40+ times in every game he has played in this year, so yeah no crap, Hopkins is going to have more catches/yards with more opportunity.

Show me a #2 in this league on a run heavy team that puts up 1,000+ yards and double digit TDs. You're insane.

I mean, you JUST mentioned it - if he played 16 games he would have had over 1,000 yards and double digit TDs. I have no idea what world you are living in bud, but that is #1 WR numbers.

Frankly, I'm sick of having to step in and educate you on stuff, dude. Do research, look at context.

Even more hilarious is you trying to include me in this ludicrous argument and acting like you have some teeth in your argument. You didn't even notice that I don't join in, did you?

I've questioned Dak from the start. I did not think he had as good a rook season as most did. And to me it was plain as day that he needed developing. At this point, he's not good. He desperately needs the right voice in his ear and a scheme to fit his skillset, and he's getting neither. Is it hopeless? Of course not. However, the more time goes by the less chance he has of "getting it". That's just pure history logic, nothing special.

If I'm condescending, I apologize. I found it highly amusing that you came in roaring and whining that no one wanted to participate in your little slapfest thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
