so Romo did nothing? was it coaches who did have a good game plan? and the team executed? keep knocking on Romo while Dak sinks the cowboys like a highschool QB that he is
Lol, do you have any recollection of our conversation yesterday? We already went over this and I’ve clearly explained it all in this thread.

You keep confusing me as a Dak fan or you’re just using this thread to bash Dak. I’ll let you in on a little secret, there’s already about 5 threads and several pages of Dak bashing, you’ll find more support there.

These threads are really making me want something bad to happen to romo. Like jesus christ he was an above average qb that can't hold field goal snaps, was unlucky as hell, and won 2 playoff games in a decade. He wasn't that good give it a rest. He won't even make the HOF. Stop worrying about a guy that could barely make it to work on a consistent basis.

So because some other people have a higher opinion of Tony Romo than you do, you are openly wishing for something horrible to happen to Romo

I have a hunch that if anyone stated that they wanted Prescott to struggle because they thought Romo had gotten a raw deal, you would go off on them. And yet, simply because people don't see it the same way you do, you hope "something bad" happens to Romo.

What kind of a sick weirdo are you?

Incredibly classy but let's try to keep it on topic. Can you please explain to me why you and your other Dak minions mock the idea that the receivers were getting separation in that thread last week??

Same group of receivers running the same offense but now all the sudden people are open. what appears more likely is that the quarterback finally got his head out of his rear end which is a good thing for the Cowboys

I'll shoot it straight. Prescott is playing a great game today. He's also been dog**** for most of the first 5 games. Are you willing to be intellectually honest and admit the same?

We arent talking about Prescott in a romo thread. I never said he was playing good ball. But let's be honest the wrs have not helped him nor has the o line. They are all partially responsible.

your understanding of QB play is obviously limited if you think Romo was not a good QB, I don't have time or patience to educate you and there is plenty of books out there you can start with.....but you are entitled to your eschewed opinion just like everyone else.

Ohhhhhh...so you’re taking this route now? You’re going to straight up lie? When did I ever say Romo wasn’t a good QB? IMOF, I said he was a very good QB during the regular season, had a few good post games but also blew more post games.

Now shut your shutting your lying mouth junior.

You also said that Eli did the reverse and was very good in the playoffs. If they were so different in the playoffs, you should be able to tell me which of their playoff stats were which and point out Eli's being clearly better. All stats on a per game basis.

QB A) 60.5 completion percentage on 33.3 pass attempts, 234.6 yds, 1.5 Tds, .75 int, 7.0 Yds/att, 87.4 passer rating, 2.25 sacks taken.

QB B) 61.6 completion percentage on 30.8 pass attempts, 219.3 yds, 1.3 Tds, .33 int, 7.1 Yds/att, 93.0 passer rating, 3.67 sacks taken

Lol, are you guys blind or dumb? Did I not say, not once (a few posts above) but twice, maybe even three times that Romo had SOME good post season games but blew at least as many important games single handily?

Is that a tough concept to understand? I never said Romo was a horrible QB and I never said he sucked in all meaningful games. IMOF, I said he was a very good regular season QB.

Eli was notorious for stepping it up in big games but I never said he was better than Romo in the 2007-08 playoff game which happened to be one of Romo’s better post season games.

Eli is a worse regular season QB than Romo but he killed it in the playoffs and when it mattered most, Romo didn’t. Plain and simple. Eli rose to the occasion and Romo flopped almost everytime in big games. Admittedly, there were a few big games he played well in and came up short but there were just as many, if not more big games where he wet the bed almost single handily.

If this is the case, why are their playoff stats for their entire careers so similar? Clearly one didn't outplay the other like you said here.

This video shows how Romo would call a new play at the LOS to make JG bad scheme work. Against 2014 playoff game against Detroit, two plays were called based on coverage they saw all game. When Romo saw that the coverage was looked different he called a brand new play "Tennessee" at the line.

This shows you Romo made the coaches look much better than they were. People who thinks we can just bring in a new QB and all will be fine are kidding themselves. Unless JG and his scheme is gone, we need a QB that is as good or better than Romo. Good luck with that. Nothing will really change much until JG is gone.

Romo.sucked.

70% of.his audibles were.wrong because he thought he was Superman in reading defenses.

But guess what he wasnt. In fact other players made jokes out of him because he was so bad at it.

OMFG, seriously? Did I specifically say only playoffs or did I say “big games”?
