Should have thrown into the middle of the field and then use the timeout. A 20-30 yard FG if better than 52. A TD on one play is pushing things.

Why not try to score a TD? What do you have to lose but the game?

Dak would have forced it and turned it over. Be it from 42, or 32.. The high % play at that point of the field was to extend the game into OT.

We did everything right after Smith foolishly got hit out of bounds.

Got the stop and saved the last Timeout.

Got the ball in FG range.

And the long snapper picks up a cheap penalty that's as good as icing a kicker.

Game over.

Right, because he himself was called for 4 penalties when he made plays to get 1st downs. Yeah, that sack-fumble was bad......but that play from that part of the field never even happens if Williams doesn’t ONCE AGAIN get whooped on the previous play and get an obvious holding call. But, I get it - you hate Dak and EVERYTHING that is wrong with Dallas is Dak.

Don't hate Dak but ya he is PROBLEM # 1 for our team!!!!!

Yep it began hooking the final 10 yards or so. It definitely is good from 47 or even 50.

Apparently Baltimore lost because the GREAT Justin Tucker’s extra point to tie the game got redirected by the wind

Really?..….it would be great to sit in the film room and illustrate it. Dak's pocket presence and pre-snap reads just aren't showing......and accuracy also is missing. Blame Dez.

Dak missed wide open receivers again. He's not without fault. And running in the middle of the field as opposed to running out of bounds to preserve the clock?
We needed the time more than the yards. We had time outs. We were moving into their red zone.
Dak has to absorb some of the fault too.

The odds of scoring the td are maybe what 5% at best there? I would have taken a shot myself but there's a lot that could have gone wrong on a play like that as well and that needs to be factored in. One holding call knocks you back 10 yards.

I think Tony is right that they definitely should have at least spiked it but lets not get carried away here.

They had a timeout and nearly a minute left. Yet they did basically nothing.
