4th overall pick in 2015 draft. Has trouble with press coverage. Kind of gave up on his team. He's basically Dez without the mouth and isn't as passionate about the game. Oh, and he's usually most effective in the slot, which you know, is the leprechaun's gig.
He went 4th rd.? After a brief perusal of his career stats ,I'm not seeing that much appreciation of his product to 1st rd. Status, other than the immediate plug& play you'd normally expect with a 1st, do you know how many times injury has struck him& the extent/severity?

Cooper was a good move, the only issue, he will hate playing in Dallas with Dak as his QB. Watch his highlights. Cooper is the guy who goes and gets the ball. He steals it from the defender using body position and his skills. Dak thinks any receiver needs 10 plus yards of separation to be considered open and even when he gets that, he's not accurate 60% of the time. He's a dump and run QB. check down mania. Cooper would be a match for a guy like Romo. Damn, now that would be the combo.

Wouldn't LIKE it, but would certainly understand it a lot better.

A receiver is one of the last issues with this team, honestly.

You haven't been watching the team, then. Yes, the Cowboys need a TE and a safety, too but if you had watched the Commanders game you should have known how they sometimes stacked the box with 8-10 players. This might be because Dak's inability to throw it or just the WRs' not being enough of a threat for the opponents.

This team lacked a wide reciever for the good of Zeke, for a more freedom for Beaz and for a chance to get a better evaluation on Dak and the team's future.

I voted no because I'm still not sold on the QB and feeling less like I ever will be with each passing Sunday. So without an answer at that position, at least not one who is good enough to beat good teams away from home (much less a playoff game), spending this capital on a regressing WR with a contract decision coming next year makes little sense to me.

Then again, we're talking about the "leadership" of the Dallas Cowboys.

Philadelphia was shopping with a second round pick. You would prefer that Cooper became an Eagle?

No, 4th pick 1st round. Like I said, not happy about spending a first rounder on him, but I'd be okay with a second without too much complaint.

Maybe the third time is the charm. The Galloway trade was a waste. The Roy Williams trade was a flop. Is Cooper going to be different or prove to be insanity?
