I will admit I was wrong about dak. I was a big supporter mainly because of his abilities shown in 2016.

I thought he would get over the slump and show those abilities again but he hasnt. I dont know what happen but he is now broken beyond repair.

I was wrong and alot of you were right.

I just dont know where this team goes from here.

A stubborn owner, long term bad coaching, years of emotionally invested into bad players.

I had high Hopes for this season and was looking forward to good football.

As a fan I am exhausted.

Hey man there is no wrong in wanting to see a Cowboy player succeed. I hate this whole Dak lover/Dak hater mentality (and other players - not just Dak). There are just different levels of support for players and the direction of the team. We all want the same thing, we just have different ways of thinking to get there.

No reason to eat crow. We are all in this boat ride together.

I am right there with you about the "I am exhausted" piece. We all are.

Respect the post, OP.

I think a lot of us "Dak haters" kept hoping we were wrong. But I fear that Dak, like you said, is broken beyond repair. Sucks as a Cowboys fan.

Great kid. Just not a good QB.
i take no joy in seeing this happen. i don't think many do because it hurts to see the entire org/team suffer. dak lit it up in his rookie year but my own questions of "when" his play would catch up with him unfortunately have now been answered. no one seems to rally around him and the team, much like me, just seems to be going through the motions.

Maybe Dak has become too much of a celebrity QB. Too many endorsements, too much time out, not enough time in the film room and practice field. He keeps reverting back to bad habits and this can’t all be on the coach. He was awful in training camp and there hasn’t been talk of him working his tail off, but he has been seen out during the week.

I'm eating crow too. Dak showed up early in his career that when the game was on the line, he was dependable. Specifically in the Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Green Bay games in 2016.

Adrian Clayborn broke this man, and he hasn't been the same since.

I had hopes Dak could turn it around, but he's a spooked nag. Ain't no way to ever trust he won't get spooked and go outlaw on you.

Agreed. Dak played wayyyy beyond himself in 2016. That season was so fun to watch, but in the long-term perspective, it set this organization back by half a decade because they bought the fools gold.

And now his teammates (even Zeke) have no faith in Dak being able to turn it around. It's obvious in their body language. No excitement for the game right now.

He has a bad coach

I mean you cant learn karate if your instructor is 450 pounds and never lifted his leg a day in his life

Where I don’t disagree with you, I feel he does a lot of injustice on himself.

Throwing off his back foot, into double coverage? With a chance to go up two scores?

He’s the ONLY Qb in the NFL who consistently runs into the defense. The 4th down at the end?

There are receivers open ... he doesn’t read the field well.

With that being said, you can’t QB being behind the sticks every drive. How many times did Booger McFarland and Jason Witten beg them to throw the ball on first down?

Garrett, Linehan and Dak are all stale, outdated and need to be moved on from after this season.

I am really down on Dak also, but then I start looking at how bad the cards are stacked against him.
Linehan
Jason Carrot
Kellen Moore! - I shake my head every time I think about this.
OL play that is nothing short of bad
A WR group that was (prior to Cooper) arguably the worst in the league.

I don't know if this kid is a viable NFL QB or not. It's hard to look at 2016 and think that he can't be. It's also hard to look at the last two years and especially this year and think that he is.

At least you’re manning up to it and you get respect for that. A lot of us had high hopes for him but Dak just isn’t the guy. One hit wonder.

Some here will still defend him until their face turns blue however.
