The Athletic's Calvin Watkins reports an anonymous agent was told by 10 players the Cowboys "are one of the worst-coached teams they’ve been on."

"Lack of attention to detail and the attention to detail is on the wrong thing," the agent continued. Anonymous agent quotes should be taken with a grain of salt, but the Cowboys' coaching issues have been evident to everyone except Jerry Jones for quite some time. It is possible Jason Garrett is coaching for his job against the Eagles on Sunday night. Nov 9 - 10:09 AM

Really bad on part of the players. If they were really that badly coached, how come they were successful in 2014, 2016 (with rookies).

I wonder if one of them was that DB we had for most of one season that said team meetings were held up if the Joneses were running late? That extends beyond coaching to the organizational set up of the franchise. What starts out poorly seldom ends up well.

Who was that? Hadn’t heard that

That is what happens when you devote all that 1st round talent to a position group like we did. We had a window of opportunity to win and that window is closing. Injuries, illness, opponents wising up to our system, etc. Garrett hasn't been able to innovate or take it to the next level and here we are.

Some of our former coaches are having success elsewhere. Hate these anonymous reports. I view them as mostly false with a sliver of truth.

I found a pic of Jerry.

This is bad.....it's probably safe to say only NFC championship or Super Bowl can save Jason

I wish I could remember his name. We picked him up as a FA but released him that season and this was several years back. When he got to his next team, he spoke about how weird it was to hold up the meetings but he wasn't selling sour grapes, just commenting on how strange that was based on his experience with other teams. The real message was how involved the owner and son were in the actual running of the team.

I've never known but just assumed by his actions that Booger was far more involved, especially after promoting Garrett, than I even suspected and All or Nothing did little to dispel that.
