If the Saints win the Super Bowl he’ll still get a ring.

You really think he'll get one since he didn't play one snap? I'm not sure about that.

I'm sure the Saints will figure out a way to come up short anyway.

Was looking forward to see how Dez would do with the Saints. What a QB to get to work with.

What a rotten piece of luck for Dez. But I like his chances at ultimately returning to the NFL. I think too many underestimate the determination of Bryant. He's a fighter.
His body is breaking down. If he comes back I doubt he'll be a starter at this point.

I feel bad for Dez. I liked him as a person and as a Cowboy. I hate to see any player get seriously hurt and especially a Cowboy or former Cowboy. Forget the beef he had with the Cowboys when he left. That's all nonsense now, I will be praying for him that his life is blessed and his career can recover.

Good luck Dez, I hope you can throw up the X again someday.

That’s not it, sometimes you just create your own luck. How many times did we see Dez look out of shape to start a season? He may work hard, I’m not calling him lazy because I really don’t know. But it’s clear he at least doesn’t work out correctly.

And out of shape players are more likely to get injured. And who here thinks Dez stayed in playing shape? It’s sad, but this is what happens when you don’t follow the advice of people who know more than you.

All speculation on your part. Several players have openly said that Dez had been working hard during his time off and was ready to go. Whether that's true or not, only Dez knows. But l'm looking at this from a human stand point. I feel bad for Dez as a person, not so much a player. I agreed with moving on from Dez. But his heart was, and always will be, in Dallas...

Yes, it is speculation on my part as far as his shape currently, but it does line up with what we have all seen. And I feel bad for him to, just the disputing the whole "football gods" argument. How I feel about him personally just doesn't effect what I think is the case

That sucks... I was actually hoping he would be the final nail in Garrett's coffin... and possibly Daks in Dallas, when they played the Saints. Oh well...

Why should I feel bad for him and NO? That’s their problem. We got our injuries and you won’t see them crying about Lee being out.

I agree. Dez is no longer on the team, right or wrong. I loved Dez as a Cowboy. I feel bad for him but my Cowboys have to move on and take care of their own injuries. Unfortunately that's the way it goes.

LOL still doesn't mean Saints can't score 42+ on us especially if our offense can't do our defense any favors will field position.

He has 56M in career earnings.

He should have retired.

Emmitt should have retired too. But only they know when they're truely done. It's not like Dez is 38 years old. I'm sure he felt he had a few more good years left in him...
