This was a team win. Dak did overcome his struggles enough to help us win but he wasn't playing great. Alot of missed opportunities. Our defense played great and Zeke had 150 yards, that's our winning formula.
Ok. So I get it now.

When we win, it's a team win.

When we lose, there are 20,000 Dak sucks threads.

Makes perfect sense. :thumbup:Thanks for clarifying that for me.

So do you deny that it as a terrible pass, that Dak stared down the receiver, that it hit the linebacker in his hands and should have been intercepted?

A bad pass is a bad pass. It's good fortune for our team that we didn't pay for the mistake.
The guys on the Ticket post game called Dak the luckiest QB of all time with his pick 6es he throws that get dropped and then his fumbles that bounce straight back to him like they are on a string.

Same could be said about many QBs. Wentz has 7 dropped INTs.

So you know Wednesday's winning lotto numbers? Can you please PM them to me?

Aww come on Bleu, but have YOU forgotten what they did to this team LAST season @ their home? I didn't say win, loss, so not sure why you wanted to go there, I simply asked who you think is going to win, with the beat down they got yesterday? Look, I was one of those ON the Dak band wagon, but 2 seasons of mediocre half witted play, with this one getting worst play out of him has made me take a more concerted look at this kid. He simply for whatever reason, is STLL not hitting wide open targets, and NOT seeing the field as he should. Go watch the film buddy, your going to be gasping at air after you see him taking sack, after sack holding onto the ball for 4 seconds with at least 1 receiver running open...

Your welcome.

Well let's see who do you think carried the team more a 200 yard passer or 150 yard runner?

I think I have covered all of the random bad pass dialogue already in this thread.

Perhaps you can acknowledge that, for every bad pass, there were 3 or 4 really good passes. Just pehaps.. shrug

The reason the Dallas believes in Prescott is because he can throw enough good passes to make them believe that he can be a franchise QB. It causes them and fans to overlook the problem areas of his game, which have contributed greatly to us having five losses this year and not being able to get much done on offense in those games.

Dak is a mixed bag and I refuse to ignore his warts just because I'm happy that we beat Philly. If those warts just showed up on rare occasions, it would be different. However, they make us a mediocre or average team when the defense is finally playing better than average.

It was a mixed bag for Dak. Made some head shakingly bad throws but also made some good ones. I think nights like last night are his ceiling which is what is concerning. I think you’d want last night to be more like the mean.

And I will say he didn’t outplay Wentz. The numbers just don’t support that. Wentz made some throws to Ertz that Dak can’t even make in his dreams. I’m glad we won, I’m glad Dak contributed. He’s a good guy and easy to root for. But if you are using last night to prove Dak is an elite QB then it shows what a desperate endeavor that is.

You should already know I don't need to watch film on Dak. I know his tendencies very well. I also know he has had zero player development in his corner since entering the NFL. So, like Romo did many years ago, he has to develop himself. Therefore, I'm going to be a little more patient than the next with regard to Dak's tendencies.

Does Wentz have four fumbles in the last month that he caused to himself that bounced right back to him? I bet Dak couldn’t do that in practice if he tried. It’s incredibly lucky. To try to deny that is very odd.

Zero player development to date. Do I need to start saying it in different languages?

One of Dak's better games this year and he still:

1.) Was inaccurate on a number of throws
2.) Left points on the field
3.) Didn't see wide open receivers
4.) Held the ball way too long
5.) Scrambled into pressure
6.) Made bad decisions

He just isn't very good. The Eagles are struggling, but you could see that Wentz is a much more natural and decisive passer of the football. Sometimes, that isn't enough to win.

Its the Amari Cooper effect. It opens up the offense. Dak is looking more and more confident. Zeke looks like Zeke again. The oline even looked better.THEN THE D FED OFF THAT. Cooper may have been worth that 1st rounder after all...time will tell. His routes are nasty.

So what are you really saying here? That you really want to say Dak sucks but his play last night is muzzling you this morning?

The fumble didn't bother me ... those things happen. Honestly, the almost interception didn't bother me a whole lot, because even the best QBs throw bad ones at times.

However, when I'm looking at his play in this game, we can't just ignore that throw or the ones he missed to Beasley on third down or Cooper on the double-move go route. Collinsworth pointed out his lack of anticipation on the pass to Gallup that led to Gallup being pushed out of bounds. He pointed out how long he's holding the ball, the shuffling feet, not setting himself, etc., that so many of us have pointed out this season when others are quick to blame the line or receivers.

I counted a couple of really good throws by Prescott and a bunch of throws that any NFL quarterback should make. I can't celebrate that. If he was playing on a franchise level, the way our running game was working and the way our defense played for the most part, we probably win this game going away and we probably have at least a couple more victories this season (if not more than that).

I like Dak. I think he can be a very good qb but he’s making rookie mistakes in year three. Stop spinning back and getting sacked for 13 yards. Step up throw it away or take the sack for 4 yards.

I gave up on Dak a few weeks ago and last night did nothing to change my mind. As much as beating the Eagles is nice, it’s also making my worst fears that much closer to becoming a reality. JG and Dak sticking around
Sorry to hear that. I'll only give up on Dak when I see that he isn't reacting positively to real player development (which current doesn't existed on our coaching staff).
