What kind of year would Michael Gallup be having?

Yeah, I think he is a clown poster, but I do think Gallup is probably a good #2. I don't see him as a 1. Cooper is a 1...his route running is elite.

I think it's too early to say what Gallup is.

We've seen the flair. We've seen the acrobatic catches.

There is really no holes in his game. The fact he has flashed like he has in this offense says a lot.

He just needs to get better with the routes. Cooper is on another level as a route runner but I will not be surprised if Gallup surpasses him as a player.

I doubt he ever surpasses him as a route runner though. Coopers route running is really incredible.

The throw that Dak made to him on the sideline and he got blasted out of bounds, he was open two seconds before the throw. He gets open a lot and our QB doesnt anticipate.

I agree, just needs more consistency, which should hopefully come with time. With Cooper on the other side, he can have the chances to be covered 1 v 1 or forgotten about in a zone coverage.

If he can be a real #2 and not some "Terrance Williams #2" then we did good.

He could seriously be considered one of the top offensive rookies if his QB could find him.

Other then the lack of anticipation is how he just cant step up in the pocket. When the DE's are coming high around the outside he tries to run out around them and into the pressure instead of just stepping up in the pocket. If we just step up, he would not only avoid the pressure and extend the play, but then he gives himself an opportunity to run with it and make a play that way.

Don't really know that without an accurate QB who can anticipate. He's been open quite a few time.....deep and Dak either didn't see him or just missed him.

To me he's basically a faster Dez with better hands and route-running but with less physicality.

The problem is some people can't get past the thought that he was drafted in the 3rd round so since he was drafted in the 3rd round he can never be a bigtime receiver.


My point is that the door is wide open as to what he can be and like ABQ said this guy could be in OROY conversation if the QB was better.
