Good morning Pops and friends. Lately the meaning of life has become learning how to love and value myself as much as God does. It's not easy because I'm normally mad at myself.

Yep, me lady, surely know that feeling. I am glad no one else disappointments me as much as me.

Evening Pops and friends! Last night was so danged cold that I had to cut the heat on just to get some sleep. I needed to wash my electric blanket after three seasons in storage. I spent all day looking for the cord to it. After the threat of a home invasion back in October, I've spent a great deal of time organizing, hiding and throwing things away. I'm afraid I made the thief's job easier which thoroughly chaps my cheeks. In the process, I made things a whole lot more confusing around here. I normally keep this in that drawer. The nail clippers are always right here. NOT ANY MORE! All things are with like items and Heaven help me if I know where that's at. Oh back to the cord, I had almost given up entirely. I thought I'd check two more areas and it was in the next to last area. What better place to put the cord to my electric blanket than to leave it on the bed. Why didn't I look there first and why is it so cold in November?

I'd like to say something positive about the game tonight, but our Cowboys are MIA. I hope everyone has a good evening any way.

Morning, Pops and the rest of the gang. Welcome to Victory Monday. One game out of 1st in the division. I'm loving Cooper, Zeke and our linebackers. Have a good one everyone.

Ah well, it was a good win against a good opponent..........Too much?

Well anyway, I'm going to get an MRI on my shoulder today, from an injury sustained 13 years ago. Before you go asking what took so long, I did go to a doctor right after it happened, and he took X-Rays and a CAT scan, and when he couldn't find anything wrong (except that I couldn't lift my arm higher than my ribs) he gave me a shot of Cortisone. That helped for about 3 or 4 days, and when I went back, he gave me another shot of Cortisone, which did absolutely nothing. That's when I decided I was done spending money on something that'd eventually heal..........So here I am, 13 years later and it wakes me up 3 or 4 times a night, so I went to a different doctor (Part of the reason it took so long is that I wanted to find an orthopedist who comes highly recommended, and my chiropractor gave me this guy's name.) who thinks I have a badly torn rotator cuff........You'd think that first doctor would've at least considered that possibility.

With any luck, I'll be able to play some golf next season!

Good luck, my friend. I know how nagging pain can be and disrupting your sleep is harmful to your overall health. My wife had to have surgery for that as well as a detached tricep and while it is a pain to wear that contraption, she did the rehab work and was as good as new soon after that.

Good WE WON afternoon Pops and friends. We had storms roll through last night. It wasn't the soothing low rumble of thunder, but some crazy crackling thunder. It's like the kid of the angel in charge of storms got his hands on the controls and tried every button on the storm gaming console. Both dogs were in a panic and let me know nature was attacking. It was a late night of hunting thunder shirts. Organization can be a bear. Hoping everyone has a good day and wishing good results for Runny at his new doctor.

Green chili gravy? My mouth is watering, and I don't even know what it is!

Well, last night with the Steak Fingers, my wife just chopped up some Fresh Green Chile and added it into the gravy she made from the drippings of the fried Steak Fingers, some milk, some flour, salt, pepper and just throw it in a skillet and start stirring. Can have it over Mashed Potatoes, which we had last night or you can dip you chicken fingers in it or you can do both.

I can tell you what what real Green Chile Gravy is during Thanks Giving and I will be giving a tutorial on that one, if you are interested.

Just freeze some and send it to me! lol It sounds like you could forego the steak fingers and just dip your own fingers in that stuff!
