Really like this dude. I wanted Derwin James but not at all unhappy with LVE. As a matter of fact, using hindsight, I'm glad we took LVE over James now.

Good. Because if he's not on the field that game we probably get tied up and who knows what happens? He made Sean Lee type plays that gave Dallas an advantage in that game.

I can't find a video on it, but anyone remember LVE's demeanor after that bogus penalty he got against the Titans? Did you see how fired up he got? I pity anyone that missed it. That dude is for real.

While I was in the pro LVE camp and thought he was a good pick I have to give props to Catch. He was leading the LVE charge since day 1. And there were plenty of naysayers!

Derwin is solid..but he's no LVE. Never thought I could actually say that. BUT WOW...was I wrong. This guy gets better each week. Lee going to have trouble getting back on the field as long as this kid is healthy.Telling you all..we are dangerous right now. If we can get a W against Atlanta, and go on to close out a good November...we will be in the cat bird seat again. We have all the components...except for the HC.

I was very skeptical...still am somewhat of the comps to Urlacher...but DAMN...the more I see him, the more I can see why he was compared to him. I see him more like a Chris Spielman. Sure tackler, athletic, tough...but bigger. Do we realize he is actually bigger than Urlacher? The dude is 6' 4. THATS HUGE for a linebacker..plus he can move like a cat. Kudos for Will McClay...and even the Jones' for taking him.
