What did everyone think about Seattle blatantly breaking the rules to block Minnesota’s FG on Monday

I must be thinking of the wrong play. TBH, I'm not sure. I know I saw somebody use his 2 teammates as pommel horses and jump over the line to block a kick.
Hyperbole doesn't serve anyone..... he can make the leap without help ...... it was more for balance

But I withdraw ....it is not a big deal.... just another missed call

They sucked. But Cowboy fans are in no position to complain about anyone getting the benefit of bad play calling because we got a lot on Sunday. Lewis fumbled that ball and we would've should've lost the ball....that terrible call could've changed the whole outlook of that game. That was huge.

2017 would be legal. Clearly illegal with the 2018 rules. There's no longer a requirement to run up - or to gain height.

Wagner said standing on the LOS was a loophole they exploited, but that was only under the old rules. They closed that loophole.

Hyperbole? He used his teammates to get over the line. Even if it was just for balance, which I don't think it was, he used them to gain an advantage.

I didn’t like it. Using your teammate as leverage is against the rules. You could tell that play was practiced. The timing was perfect as Wagner put his hands on both of his teammates shoulders at the exact same time, and then pushed off( leverage ). I think on a play like this the League Office should fine Seattle’s owner for conduct detrimental to the league. If owners are fined heavily after their teams blatantly break the rules, then maybe less teams would try cheap tactics like this. NE has been doing crap like this for years. They will get away with it, then the league will quietly make a rule against it( jumping the center, having an ineligible slot receiver, while the tackle is eligible on the opposite side of the field, NE won a playoff game vs the Ravens a couple of years ago doing this. The play was made illegal after that season)
What if we are in the playoffs vs Seattle and they block our 20 yard FG to win the game by using this bush league play.

Lastly, this play should be reviewable. It is hard for the ref to see everything that is going on in the middle of the line during a FG attempt. It would be ashame for any team to lose a game in this manner, especially our team.
Agree or disagree?
I thought every scoring play is reviewed.?

I know there was no call on the infraction..

but honestly..

What a missed call.

Plus the Goedert PI on the long touchdown. Now they ended up scoring a TD on that drive anyway but that was a horrific call.

Yeah they scored anyway but had they allowed that 1st touchdown......Eagles would've had a chance to get the ball back as opposed to having to let the Cowboys control the clock and go into OT.

Cowboys got some bad calls but they seemed more like make up calls for the crap they gave the Eagirls. I hate them so I don't care that we benefited but we definitely benefited.

They called our center for moving the ball an inch the "wrong way" against the Skins in the first game. But, won't call a player obviously using leverage to block a kick.

They mangage to see our long snapper move his fingers, but not this play.
This play should be reviewable. Actually, every play should be reviewable, especially, so called judgement calls( pass interference, etc.)

Either way he only grazed his teammate but if the rule says you can't touch them then they got it wrong

I just don't see some big conspiracy
You should watch it again. He pushed off the shoulders of his teammates with both hands. This play had to have been practiced quite a bit. How many teams besides the Patriots practice plays that are blatantly illegal? Not many!

You got the rule wrong

You can't line up over the center
You can't get a running start for a leap
You can't use Center as leverage...... but you can use teammate

That is why it was picked up.....he wasn't running and he didn't push off or lineup over the center
He was running and he pushed off of 2 teammates. I think you got it wrong.

If you can get away with it then why not? It's the ref's fault for allowing it to happen so blame them, not Bobby Wagnor.
Refs can’t see everything in the middle of the line during a FG attempt. That is why it should be reviewable.

Some of you don’t know what integrity is. Stretching the rules is one thing, but blatantly cheating like NE, and now Seattle, is wrong. Seattle went over the line when they practiced, then executed, a blatantly illegal play.

Well, they have to make up for that Super Bowl gift to Pittsburgh somehow!

Whenever people say NFL Refs are as clean as Buddhist Monks I tell them to watch that game. Bad calls even out over time and are unbalenced in some big games - but not that many and not so perfectly timed.

Agreed. You should be allowed to step on your teammates' backs if you want to....but since it is a rule, it's clearly an unfair advantage to break the rule and get away with it.
If you were allowed to step on your teammates backs, guys would be using their teammates to launch themselves over the line, like circus tigers. FG percentages would go down to 25%, and someone would probably break their back when an O lineman comes up and flips a guy.

I thought DLaw got screwed...thats what I thought watching that.

as for the recovery/non-recovery in our game...they had 4Qtrs to do something about it.There were bad calls...thru out...on both sides...BUT OUR DEFENSE HELD THEM TO 68 TOTAL YDS AND 0 PTS IN THE 1ST HALF....no guarantee they score there....they didnt the entire 1st half.
The right team won.....eagles didnt lose that game.....refs didnt lose that game...
DALLAS WON IT.

I'm not so sure it was leverage. Could have been. Could have been hands down to maintain balance. Usually something like that is always called when the player puts his hands up high and vaults up. In this case I just his hands go down and to his side.
