A quarterback like Cam Newton made it to the Super Bowl not because he's better than someone like Dak, but because his team was better. Everyone wants a Rodgers or a Brady, but there are few out there with that kind of ability and even when you have one of those, it doesn't guarantee success. Rodgers has been a starter for 11 seasons, and has one Super Bowl appearance and victory.

However, the level of your QB play does directly affect how good you have to be at other aspects of the game.

Cam Newton was the MVP that year. He carried the team and didn't have the benefit of a 1000 yard rusher. The Panthers were also #1 on offense that year. Newton is an infinitely better QB than Dak and I'm not a Newton fan. He's having a down year this year and he's still statically where Dak is and has thrown more TD's. But for some QB's, it's a down year; for Dak, he's playing well.

He was however a lousy leader, a lousy teammate and a headcase to boot. Dak is always going to miss some throws. Hopefully the rest of his game makes up for it.

Aikman was one of the most accurate QB's ever i believe he qualifies as an authority on accuracy ! IMO

Tebow had "it". just had trouble throwing like Dak.. They just needed better qb coaches and offensive lines.
