These are normally threads you find in the fan zone but I am not going to post this in the fan zone. Best posted in the off topic zone.

Threads that start off with (insert here or see list below) normally annoy me.

Tap the breaks....yes most know that we should not be excited and I too get annoyed when we win a game and all of a sudden it brings out the super homers but do we need a thread reminding people to "tap the breaks" instead of just posting in one of the many existing threads that are available.

Why is nobody talking about...Oddly enough about 9 times out of 10 the topic that someone asks why nobody is talking about it, has already been talked about in a number of existing threads. Maybe the better question is, why didn't you find the threads containing the questions you are asking about.

Can we talk about or can we discuss....Again sure we can, but chances are there are already numerous threads on the forum that contain the same topic you want to discuss. Instead of starting new threads, just talk about it in one of the existing threads already out there.

How about that, take that haters or fan boys, still defending so and so?...and the various titles that are nothing more than call out threads about a player, coach or the team in general. I am pretty sure you don't like it when the opposite of your take does it so how about knocking it off instead of doing the same thing...for the record there should not be CALL OUT threads anyway.

Thread titles that do not tell you what the thread is about...How about you change the title to something that gives a general idea of what you are posting about. If you want to give some crazy hot sports take on Dak's numbers...Title the thread Look at these Dak Stats...not something like You won't believe this.

On a side note you should also read the post Reality put up and it would tackle some of these things I am talking about...

Yeah...pretty rare to go into a Dak thread and find nothing more than the haters and homers going at it instead of having a decent argument or convo.
Speaking of I’m starting to believe. Aaron Rogers had the liberty of watching one of the greats for a few years. Maybe he’s catching on

Some folks are just worried not enough people will see their incredibly important opinion if they post it in an existing thread, so they start one of their own as a favor to everyone who needs to know what they think.

The forum is so devisive now, much like "other" things outside sports. Everything needs a label and you have to be on one side only......there is no middle ground to many, many people. It's us versus them mentality:(

I’m so aggravated about this in particular. It’s like people need a platform to curse at or belittle folks they don’t even know. What kind of miserable person does this?

I can't stand posts that say something like, "That's X minutes of my life wasted. Don't post about that." If a post is on a topic you're not interested in, the perfect solution is: Don't open it. Move on to another post that does interest you. Everyone is not equally interested in the same things. Welcome to the real world.

I am not sure which is worse. The Fan Zone after a win or a loss. In that regard, this is the same as the old DC.com. I had more fun in the main forum after a loss because there was some really funny stuff. Seems those bent on sarcasm really shine after a loss.

The problem I have is too many get carried away with a win and refuse to acknowledge the warts are still there or the cooperation from the opposing team in the victory.

I am not as much of an ardent fan as I once was and the upside of that is retaining objectivity and looking at the team as I would any other team, not through wishful thinking or excusing. Doesn't mean I do not appreciate the effort it took to get that win.

Rudeness is rampant on the internet, this site is no different.

There is not one poster here or on the old site that I didn't have a differing opinion at least once with but those opinions didn't/don't define that poster to me. I know there are some bent to the negative and sarcastic side here but that doesn't mean they do not make valid points. And the more valid a point might be, the more vitriol rolls in their direction.

One thing many do not allow for is just flat boredom. I've admitted this before but there were times I took the opposing view to what I really thought just to stir something up. Got called out on it but that didn't stop me. The fact is there is just so much anyone or group of people can say about one subject. And just so many threads.

However, my pet peeve is posters taking the time to call out a poster for starting a thread. What the hell? Just move on past it if they don't like it. Threads will die soon enough on their own, I know I've started some with euthanasia written all over them. There's not a limit on threads so who cares?
