Sure it does. Cowboys currently have a number of guys on IR.
Nope, not like it used to. You go on IR, period. After 8 weeks, you are eligible to return if your team hasn't already brought 2 players back. There is no special designation.

What's it going to be then, eh?

That stinks. T-Will has proven in years past to be more productive receiving than Noah Brown. What has Goodwin been good for? Sitting on the sidelines?
He delivered a nice block in the back that nullified Austin's TD punt return. How's that?

You didn't say the IR rules are different, you said IR doesn't exist, period. It does. The only difference is you can bring 2 players back. For all others it's the same.

I didn't say that. And neither did the person you responded to.

They were saying the IR designated to return did not exist anymore. It doesn't. It's all just IR.

Sorry, it wasn't you that said that, but he did say that, and you agreed with him. These were his words ...

IR designated doesn't exist anymore.

I assume he meant "designation" rather than designated, but the fact is he said IR doesn't exist.

Because you assumed wrong doesn't make it a fact.

IR designated to return was the separate designation they had to be placed on before. That no longer exists. It's just IR.

You read it wrong and made a poor assumption, that's all.

Seriously? You're ok with giving a 1st round pick 5 years to develop and see if they are busts? There is a reason people run their mouths nonstop, because 1st round picks should be starting no later than their 2nd year. If it takes 4-5 years to find out, why did you draft him in the 1st round for?
Taco hasn't looked good but he also is a natural SDE on a team with the best SDE in football.
If the Rams draft a 3T should their fans say he sucks because he can't unseat Donald or looks unsettled playing 1T?

Demarcus Lawrence had 16 starts after 3 years in the league FWIW.

Noah Brown is a fairly good young player who can grow into an h-back type match up player for us.

He didn't say "designated to return". He merely said IR designated doesn't exist, and the fact is people are designated as being on IR.

what I'm saying is you don't have to designate players to return anymore, you can just bring them back, they changed that rule a few years ago

Okay. It wasn't worded that way, but if that was your intent I'm cool with that.

Context is difficult for you isn't it? We've talked about your reading comprehension before.

What he wrote should have been clear.

Wilson will get a spot next year IMO, I was really excited for his potential when we drafted him.

People need to stop with the Noah Brown hate...dude's a good blocker with good route running who just needs some more time to keep developing his receiver skills. He'll be decent, he's still extremely young. WRs are a lot like DEs when it comes to how they develop....they take time and it seems like NOBODY these days is willing to give them time. Look at all the flack second year player Taco Charlton gets...we won't know if he's a bust until his contracts almost up but people still run their mouths nonstop.
Be nice if he could catch the dang ball.

lol - sorry, but you clearly are not the authority on getting things right, and have consistently proven that no matter how wrong you are you will defend your position to the end, even if it takes altering your story multiple times to do it.

Me and the poster are on the same page now, and have no problem. Why should you?

WRs Terrance Williams and Cedrick Wilson have been on Injured Reserve for most, if not all, of the season. Terrance has been dealing with a nagging broken foot injury he suffered in the offseason, and Cedrick Wilson has been dealing with a shoulder injury he suffered right out of training camp/preseason.

Has anyone heard anything about their status and whether their injuries have healed by now? If their injuries are healed, why are they still on Injured Reserve? Or is it that their injuries are still not healed? Why taking this long?

Has anyone heard anything about them? With Allen Hurns done for the playoffs with such a gruesome injury to his lower leg, and Cole Beasley and Amari Cooper having suffered low hits to their lower legs which hobbled them against the Seahawks, wouldn't it be nice to see if either T-Will or C-Wil could contribute?
Ain't no big deal

We are short on WRs but..

against the Rams..

I expect us to go 2-3 TE formations..

like we did with success against Seattle.

TEs we got plenty of.

Even Rico might do something this time.

Who knows?

Since we haven't been using Rico as a receiver, and teams know that, it seems like there will come a point that we will surprise an opponent with a pass to him at a key moment.

You have proven yourself unable to read well. I am sorry that is the case, but it's just the facts.
The poster verified that what I said was true and that you were mistaken. If you would have accepted my explanation initially as you did his, then there would be no "problem."

You chose not to and had to try and be right when you clearly weren't.

The poster came back to me and said what he meant, I said I was cool with that, and we were good. You felt some goofy need to insert yourself to create a silly conflict that doesn't exist otherwise, and you feel an even goofier need to perpetuate it. That tells all anyone needs to know about you.

He came back and explained what I told you. If you had listened to me and just accepted my explanation instead of being defensive we wouldn't be having this discussion. You felt the need to correct him when you wrongly thought he said something wrong. I did the same to you when you were clearly wrong. That tells us that you have poor reading skills and are now a proven hypocrite.
