Crock pot chili, layered dip, cheddar/bacon quiche, fresh cut fruit. I’ve been asked to make sausage balls, so another trip to Kroger. I don’t eat much meat, so a veggie stew for me. Oh, and homemade hot chocolate in another crock pot because we have a snow/ice storm starting close to game time.

my ranch foreman's wife cooks the best Mexican food in the world. last day of deer season we gave her a whole doe. today she's making us (talked the wives into staying home in dallas) gorditas with duck, venison, lengua and who knows what else. a big flan for dessert. the usual cerveza, tequila y cigarros. disfruta de tu comida. vamos vaqueros.

Let us hear more about those bacon onion rings.

Really simple actually. Wrap 2 strips of bacon around raw onion slice of onion. Make the slices a little thicker and wider to make it easier to wrap the bacon. Typically I'd cook them on the bbq at 220˚ for 20-25 min but it is too damn cold outside. I will bake them same temp and time, then glaze them with a mixture of sriracha, bbq sauce and lime juice and then broil them for a couple of minutes to get them a touch crispy. They are great as apps or to top off a burger :)

Simple here too. Got tons of tortilla chips and canned nacho cheese like at the stajum and jalapenos and refrieds to put on top. Lots of beers and empty bottles to throw at the TV. Might have to add a Joe's pizza to the mix.

Wonder if Nacho cheese and Jalapenos will work on my pregame snack...

My mum went through the seasonings I bought over and was like “what’s this” she took a quick finger tip full of Carolina reaper dust and ate it and had to down a gallon of water (idk why she tried it, eating hot fries makes her sweat lol)
