Well, lets say that last night, we somehow got the ball back but now it was down to 4th down and no real time left.
Dak has no choice, whether anyone is open or not, to throw it to the endzone or at least throw the ball in fair play.

I would say, even though its in the books, thats not a “true int” to be blamed on Dak.

Agree.. And the fact he won’t pull it down when he has a open lane. They could just tee off and pin there ears back. They are trying to make him stay in the pocket to much. Guess it didn’t matter our Defense was swiss cheeses all night. That was the biggest shock to me.

There is always a handful of plays that turn out to be the difference makers. Plays in the second and third quarter that get lost in the shuffle. Routine plays that don't stand out or make the highlight reel.

Dak missed to many of those plays yesterday.

I'm not blaming the loss entirely on him. Obviously there is plenty of responsibility elsewhere. He did not step up and make the most of the opportunties he did have though.

His fatal flaws were the difference.

I think it's harsh to say that Dak laid an egg yesterday, because he played about the way he plays. It's not as if he was terrible, he was Dak. He missed some throws, he failed to run when he had a chance, he also made some really nice throws in there. I'd say Dak played a pretty typical game for him, so he didn't IMO lay an egg. He just wasn't good enough when the running game didn't work and the defense couldn't stop the Rams all night.

You're right he played his normal eh game but without the D and running game it shows you this dude ain't leading the Boys to jack expletive. The Dak fans should think about that too because you're 1000% correct hat he played his normal missing easy throws, not running when he needed to, and made a play or two. That's why he's Alex Smith Jr to me. Avg all day everyday

There also others who only show up when we win and sing praises about their guy too. But well, even with the above being true, there is nothing unusual for people to show up, when it is the end of the season and we are closing the book so to speak until people start talking about the draft.

The defense produced 14 TOs during that stretch including basically 14 points against Tampa while Dak was mediocre. The defense has been carrying Dak.

He did, but it’s not really an apples to apples comparison given that the Rams were able to emphasize and capitalize their running game and the Cowboys were not.

Bottom line.

Dak can't go toe-to-toe against high-powered offenses if his defense is anything less than great.

He just misses so many easy throws, and defenses don't respect him at all.
