Hence why he should not get singed long term.....how you gonna fix that? He has played since High School that way, he has played since college that way, and now he is playing in the NFL this way...how is the NFL going to make him more accurate?? not happening ...watching this young qb from the Chiefs is like night and day with his accurate throws.
it's a shame but I agree with you. Problem is there isn't much of a option, I think Dak is here for the foreseeable future and it will be more of the last 22 years.

Nearly 300 rushing yards matters in a loss and points do matter when the offense gets 30, on top of only having to punt one team, because of a defense playing so poorly. The Defense couldn't come up with a stop when they needed to. But, some believe that Dak hitting more throws, would have meant the Defense rising up to come up with enough stops to win the game. More than likely, the Rams would have challenged the Defense more, even if our offense scored more points.

Which would mean it would be up to the Defense to prove they could stop the Rams offense, when they couldn't all night. Last night defensive performance, is the same type that some have blamed for the Cowboys not making it past the divisional round, with Romo. The same ones who call Romo great and assume, he would have won the Superbowl with a better defensive performance, now expect Dak to overcome, a defensive performance, that was worse than any of the defensive performances, we had with Romo in the divisional round.

Romo couldn't overcome not having a RB of Zeke's caliber(for the if Romo had Zeke Crowd), but Dak is supposed to overcome the Rams shutting down Zeke. Same double standards, where other QBs are given the benefit of the doubt and Dak is just given the blame.

Your'e right. The defense got mauled. Our O-Line got mauled. There were some crappy play calls that hurt. However, near the end of the 2nd Qtr, he totally missed a wide open receiver who may have scored on the play, would have at least had a first down. On the very next play there was the phantom "in the grasp" call and the Cowboys had to punt. THAT is my problem with Dak. He is consistently inconsistent. There is plenty of blame to go around on this loss. HC, DC, OC, D-Line, O-Line AND the QB.
Even though the defense gave up all those yards, this team still had ample opportunities to get back into the game. Penalties, bad passes and horrible play calls all played a part.

I guess Romo was a scrub since he didn't get past the divisional round. Dak has matched his playoff success in 3 years.

Let's be honest, TR never had a very good team around him, maybe one year and we all got screwed that year because Dez Caught It!!!

I have, just making a point that if playoff success determines which QBs are scrubs, then Deshaun Watson and Andrew Luck are scrubs too.

I'm one who thinks Watson isn't so good. He looked pathetic in their playoff loss. But then again, I don't trust "athletic" QB's to win in the playoffs.

Gonna have to agree to disagree. This is an offensive league. There are times where the D no matter how good it is, is going to give up points. This game should've and wouldve been won if we had a half way competent QB.. period.
Ask Mahomes how his offense did when he scored 50 against the Rams and still lost......

Dak has had some rough patches this season but was way more good than bad.
Yesterday’s loss was def not on him. I think we can win with him and as hard as it is to find a QB, hard to find one much better, esp in the clutch. I’m fine with keeping Dak if we dump LInehan and preferably JG, although pretty sure we will keep 2/3.

Of course they have to sign Dak, they don't have another option.
He is what he is, an avg QB who can win us games if everythin's perfect around him, hopefully he can get better with good coaching.

Tough game. Defense didn't play well, but that was a given.. Thye played a very good offense and all things considered fought hard. held them to field goals...

End of the day, the game was there to be won. They dared dak to win with his arm. With a more efficient QB we win this game.

This guy has so much more than most QB's the team has all the things in place to make noise except for ... DAK.. One of the best olines, one of the best RB's one of the best defenses, good wo's this guy can't win.. he's a scrub. Resigning him and loosing out on other more important players that we should resign will be imprending mediocracy for this franchise for more years to come. He is the issue.
Let's see Rams punted once, Zeke got 47 yards because no holes were open, Dak had average 2.5 seconds to tbrow unless out of the pocket, and it is all Dak fault. Wow, that is not only a stretch but not even close to what happen, and oh it is a team game just in case you missed it.

:hammer:This ^. And I think we are going to get our wish. The 4th and 1 run up the gut knowing the Chargers were keying on Zeke was the final nail in the coffin.

I'm not a fan but I do think he can win..........just not in this offense which is trying too hard to make him into a pocket passer. He needs to move and not be afraid to run for 4 yards on 3rd down.

The Jones are going to sign Dak... People just need to get that in their heads now.

Love him
Hate him
Meh about him

They will sign him
It's how much they will sign him for or how much he will sign for that is a legit argument.

Well he is here at least for one more season, most likely, so it is best to be hopeful and hope that he can work on some of his flaws this off season. McNabb had bad accuracy but was a deep threat, so he is hoping that Dak can somehow become McNabb at least. He did make some deep throws this game that give me hope. Like I said, you don't get rid of a quarterback unless you have someone who is better that can replace him. If Foles balls out in this playoffs and the Eagles are dumb enough to let him go, I would jump all over that at the moment, but I doubt the organization would. So let's hope Dak does well next season, and if he bombs out we should have a high enough draft pick to pickup a replacement.

Goff was not good last night. But, he didn't have to be. He made a few nice throws and didn't turn the ball over.
He completed passes down field when he needed and used his legs to win the game.
We could have won this game if we had a quarterback who could efficiently and effectively lead a passing-attack offense.
We simply couldn't match the Rams scoring and put defense got tired.
