As I stated numerous times last week we all know Wade. I knew he was going to sell out to stop the run. He did.

Yep. I don't get it.

If Dak had as bad of a game as Zeke we'd never hear the end of it. Some players are just exempt despite sinking massive draft capital and cap space on them.
I can't blame Dak for this loss, but I can point to several throws that had they been on target drives would have been kept alive.

I can't say that I saw Elliott leave yards on the field -- maybe there was one play that he could have tried to bounce outside but there was a defender close by. Elliott also gets the benefit of the doubt due to being the leading rusher in the league 2 of his first 3 years despite a lot of stacked boxes to stop the run.

This EXACTLY, but he was a 4th round pick. Formula for playing Dallas? Stack the line and make Dak beat you. Would any of us do it any differently? The QB needs to be able to beat the defense over the top consistently otherwise defenses will just focus on stuffing Zeke. Can Dak do that and can Dak go into a game with the #1 goal being to throw the ball often to beat a team. Can he make defenses respect our passing game or will they always have little to no worry that he can hurt them. It is not going to get easier.
It was Dak's time to step up and carry the team, make a statement, he failed, it's as simple as that. Shut down Zeke and couple that with a poor defensive outing and Dak couldn't produce he folded, it is what it is.

its hard to run when at the snap 3 DL are in the backfield all day..he had zero chance most plays to even get started running..even when they tried outside the LBs were there at the snap, he takes 2 steps and they were all over him..this is not a RB issue this was line failure and more so just great defensive play..they set out to simply stop Zeke all day and it worked, we still scored 22 and lost by one score...this was on a defense that gave up 17 in the 2nd quarter and 30 on the day and 277 to 2 running backs..seriously how do you keep on schedule to run down 20-7 at the half and lost TOP by mile??our offense didnt have enough touches to comeback or I think we win this game, not on zeke or Dak, blame the line blame the coaching but how about giving the toher coaches and defense on the other side some credit..they were the better team coming in and going out, did we forget we were picked to lose?

Home team won every one of the 4 games this past weekend.

Yet somehow the Cowboys should have won? With a missing Pro Bowl center and a rookie at left guard? Missing Irving? Rookie at wide receiver and another wide receiver here barely half the season? And doofus coaching?

If the Cowboys could have gotten the last 4th and 1 first down, very possibly we're looking at an overtime game.

It's not like they were completely dominated in all phases of the game, the 273 yards rushing given up and the 36:13 top were the keys. Goff threw for 186 yards and no tds, the pass defense was good enough to win the game.

Obviously the coaches did not prepare for Anderson and a run-heavy offense. And did anyone hear the statement during the game that the Rams' o-line had all 5 starters for all 16 games? Watch the game, they were able fire off the line at the snap and engage the d-line before the d-line could react. To those that insist a run-heavy offense can't win in the NFL, how do you explain this game? Chiefs ran for 4 tds, Mahomes didn't have a single td pass. Pats ran for 4 tds and 155 yards, Brady threw ONE td pass. Brees had 2 td passes, but the Saints ran for 155 yards.

Look, the Rams were the better team. Cowboys still had a chance to win the game, or at least get it to overtime. I'm not one bit surprised the Cowboys' lost, Rams were a 7 1/2 pt favorite, won by 8, essentially the amount of the betting line. This game ended up like it was predicted.

We've found weaknesses and strengths during this season, not sure that the coaches and staff can address those weak areas adequately, but we'll see...

I can point those out in every game by EVERY QB..seriously most are not 40 for 40 they miss easy throws open throws..it happens not making excuses but under pressure the QBs all make mistakes

Yeah, I don't blame Dak for the loss. But he does miss guys who are wide open a little too often. Hard to be a consistent offense when you can't make some throws against air.

They showed the 4th and 1 from the sky cam. Zeke should have ran left instead of into the back of the center. He probably gets the first down because there was a hole.

Bro give it up, you look pathetic.

Everybody knows Zeke is better than that one game. Dak on the other hand is what he is.

I see you are still pissed off from yesterday's thread!

Says the dufus with a Landry avatar,, ya I wanna be boring cool like you. Grow a paiir and leave your basement..

Yeah, it's crazy how the league's leading rusher suddenly forgot how to run the football. It's almost as if Donald and Suh abused our interior linemen, or something.

Then run outside, Zeke. He's faster..

It was said a million times that we wouldn't have been as successful in 2016 if we had selected Ramsey instead of Zeke. Probably not true but it was said.

I can say without a doubt we have a much better chance of winning that game Saturday with Ramsey instead of Zeke.

You just admitted that you think Landry avatars look cool.

You also have a thing for talking rubbish after expressing your fascination for Landry avatars.

47 yards rushing.

But he's off limits on this forum.

When the opposing team basically says to the world “we are going to try and shut down Zeke and make Dak beat us” Then your running back isn’t the issue

The Rams had zero fear about making their strategy known. That is very telling

Can Ramsey play DT and stuff the run?

Lol. Everyone is blaming the defense. Yes, some are also rightly giving some to Dak and the offense. There is enough for everyone.

Stop.

The D was awful.

The Rams begged the Cowboys to pass on them, and outside of the opening drive Dak was awful too in the first half. That greatly contributed putting the team behind the 8-ball the remainder of the game.

From the four minute mark of the second quarter when they went up 20-7, until their last touchdown with about six minutes left in the game, the Rams scored one single field goal

That’s almost an entire half of football where our defense only allowed them three points. That was our opportunity to get back in the game but our offense sucked during that stretch

Probably the most on target pass that Prescott threw during that stretch was the gift wrapped touchdown he threw to Ebukam, And thankfully he dropped it

You hit the hammer right on the head of the nail here. The defense wasn’t good but our offense was pretty awful as well

Why wouldn’t he? He made a calculated decision that giving free reign to Prescott was a lower risk proposition than letting Zeke run wild

He was right
