LOL.

This is insane. He said this morning he expects Linehan back although no discussions have taken place. A few hours later Stephen comes out and says no decisions have been made in coaches. Two hours after that, Garrett goes in front of the press and claims amnesia and that he can’t remembet what he said 7 hours earlier.

Dude. Come on.

You're insane and tired, so what he said he EXPECTED him back in one radio interview , then was asked again in another interview, after Jones interview, he did he still expects him back . He never said he was definitely coming back either time. He may not remember or he may remember . Who the heck knows. You fools will turn anything into pile of sh

When any organization has a collaborative effort, who is accountable? If decisions are made as a committee, who do you hold responsible?

It is not as we want it but it is set up with the Joneses in charge and out front and the HC's duties are relegated to a specific role. This is the only team in the NFL where the owner and his son make announcements that the HC's of the other teams make.

The Joneses did not hire a HC in the same way all of the other teams do it. They hired a specific person to fulfill a certain role and be paid extremely well for that. There are areas of the team that are reserved for the owner and that's the way it is.

But those of you throwing these names around as replacements for Garrett, what do you think these men are thinking after this unfolded today? Think they want any part of that? Better to let people think the owner is running it than to confirm that through the media. Make no mistake about it, this is embarrassing for Garrett.

OMG. The signs of dementia have come early. Garrett just take it easy and relax for the rest of your life. You've made enough money and done a job for the organization that you can be proud of.

Jerry, do the right thing! Pay the man a nice severance package and hire a new coach.

Has this every been a question...lol Jerry told you more than a million times he has final say.
No, that's why I've argued with that silly notion that Son was taking over, not even close. But for his HC to have to backtrack and then try to clarify just makes the entire thing look like a cluster.

It’s another sign of the dysfunction of this organization. Jason said something, Jerry and Stephen weren’t happy, quickly undercut the coach and then a few hours Garrett suddenly wants to play dumb.

It also does little to refute the claims that Garrett is nothing more than a puppet.

Who told you they weren't happy or you're just like the rest of the fools who pull ish out their___ ? Nothing Stephen said undercut Jason saying what he expects, nobody said whether he is or isn't coming back.

LOL.

You have got to be kidding me. In less than 10 hours Jason says one thing, Stephen comes out and says what he says and then Jason comes out and claims he can’t remember what he said hours earlier?

The naivety is stunning at times around here.

In other words, Jerry and Stephen are gonna shop around and see what's out there before committing.

Here’s what he actually said. You guys ever going to learn?

"We don't anticipate any significant changes on our staff, Garrett said on Shan and RJ. "Obviously, we're still evaluating everything on our football team. We're 36 hours after the ballgame but we're going to keep trying to grow as a staff and as a football team. We'll evaluate what we did and just keep trying to get better."

Several hours later, Garrett changed his tune, saying he didn't remember what he had said on The Fan and that the club hadn't held their end of season meeting to discuss coaches and players futures.

"It's still pretty immediate right now. Obviously, we just played the game on Saturday night," Garrett said at his end of season press conference. "Over the last several days, I've been in player interviews. We're going to have our first real staff meeting when we get done with the press conference and we'll talk about staff stuff. We haven't had any conversations about our staff at all

When further questioned about his answer, Garrett said, "we haven't had any subsequent conversations about our staff. Scott did a great job this year. I don't know how I answered that question this morning. Nothing has changed."

Following the on-camera session with the media, Garrett was once again asked about Scott Linehan's future with the team and said regardless of his previous answers, he expects Linehan to remain with the Cowboys in 2019.

No you're naive and Garrett tripping, he said he didn't remember yet still reiterated the same thing. He said anything about later because the asked. You're so he** bent on trying to find something negative to bit about. Stephen said what he feel, Jason said what he expects. So nothing changes, he still expects him to return, he gave the same answer as this morning. You were bamboozled by the media once again.

If this was a move from the top, this is one of the times I can agree with Jerry/Stephen. We need to see what Dak has before we invest big money in him. Letting Linehan and Moore play around for another year will be way too costly. No thanks.

Exactly, its kind of comical how far people are going to make this into a controversy.

Garrett said "Blah Blah happy happy"

Stephen Jones said "We are evaluating our options"

Garrett said "Yeah, what he said".

All of this within 40 hours of the team walking off the field in LA.

Exactly!

Basically no time to reflect.
If I were that involved, I'd still be in the bleep, bleep, bleep stage... lol
(This is where rules will not fully allow me to express myself with words...lol)

Facts that should melt off the faces of those stirring the pot... lol
