We cannot really evaluate Dak unless we have a legit QB coach and a new O coordinator. Whom we are retaining, so we might never know if Dak really is the answer.

Well guess now, you can only hope for a QB Coaches since it will most likely be the same OC.

He can’t hand the ball to himself or block for the running game. He may not have lifted the team completely on his shoulders, but he played well. The running game and defense were the big culprits.

They talked about why the running game was bad on the Musers this morning. The CBs were giving the receivers like 10 yards cushion and selling out on the run, because they were disrespecting Dak. So Zeek had no chance. That is on Dak's inability to be a consistent deep threat, or be a leader and audible the play to throw it to receiver that isn't being covered because the Rams were selling out on the run.

Don't want to give Dak a lot of money, but don't think I want to give it to Foles either.

I would let Dak play out his contract and then draft another QB. To the untrained eye he looks to be a franchise QB. Even when you look at his numbers he doesnt look too bad until you start looking at his 3rd down conversion rate in yardage of 7 or more. He didnt do much to help a struggling defense in that rams game but during the year that same defense did a lot to help him out and make him look good.

That’s just dumb. Oakland has 3 first round picks they’d never give up their top pick for an old QB like Foles. They may give up their Cowboys pick but I doubt that too.

I like Foles so it is hard to not agree somewhat. BUT, you really think the Eagles are just going to let him walk out the building as a free agent? The will ask a kings ransom for him, bank it. I wouldn't blame them, heck I would trade Wentz for a couple 1st and make Foles my number 1.

I think the Foles contract for next year calls for a $20 million CAP hit.

The #Eagles hold a $20M club option w/ QB Nick Foles in 2019. If they exercise it, Foles can buy himself out of it for $2M.

Plus Foles earned $500,000 for taking over 33% of snaps in the playoffs this year.

Can't coach talent bud.....year 4 coming up wait and mark this post if in fact he is still our starter at QB...nothing will change with our Dak as you CANNOT coach Talent you can only fine tune it.....unfortunately for Dak he has very little and feeds off the rest of our Talent base to excuse his inept existence as a QB starting in the NFL....

It is great to be a fan. Like Dak, do not like Dak, hate Linehan, hate Garrett, want more of this or that, it is just the way fans are. Been a fan since the Cowboys very 1st game (yep, I'm old), try to go at least to one game a year and at one time was a season ticket holder (end zone) when season tickets only cost a couple of hundred. Would drive from Midland to Dallas for a game and back same day. So yes I love my Cowboys.

The back and forth on Dak is no different than with Meredith or Morton or White or even Aikman his first couple of years. Heck I remember when most fans wanted to trade Aikman in his second year and keep Walsh now that would have been an awful trade. Same thing happened for a number of years with Romo least we forget.

Am I a Dak lover, NOPE. I am only a guy that wants the Cowboys to win each and every week they play. I really don't care if Zeke gets only 47 yards or Dak passes for 400 or 100 yards, I just care that we win. So as to Dak or any other member of the team, Jerry and Stephen might or might not extend or resign a guy and whether I like it or not, post it or not, it is just not going to matter, yet like any fan, I will have an opinion right or wrong.

Please. No. Foles got a gift from Brees - threw an interception on the first play of the game. It was 14-0 quickly. All Foles needed to do was to make enough average-level passes to move the chains. They didn't even need touchdowns at that point, just field goals and the game would be very difficult to come back from. It was an easy assignment for Foles and he just bit the dust and was legitimately blown out after the first 2 series. Put Dak in the game with a 14 point lead, there's no way he loses that one.

I swear. Some people's suggestions are just ridiculous here. Replace Foles' stats against the Saints with Dak's against the Rams, and it's a sure win. But I get it, no two situations are alike. Which is why we stood a better chance against the Saints than the Rams. We beat the Saints. The Eagles beat the Rams. That was the better scenario for both us and the Eagles.

I also saw Foles throw 2 interceptions to Dak's none. 2nd one wasn't exactly his fault, but the first one was greatly underthrown. Dak had a near pick, but still... your claim is just lazy.

The reason I feel this way is because it falls was under center the Rams would not have totally focused only on Zeke and dared the quarterback to beat them

It was obvious that was their strategy from the opening snap

I also find it interesting that all of the posters want to pretend that the two gift wrapped pick sixes that Prescott served up in consecutive weeks didn’t happen simply because the defender dropped them

99 times out of 100 that’s a touchdown for the defense and somehow we got incredibly lucky to weeks in a row.

That’s not going to continue to happen but he does continue to throw those types of passes. I can’t be the only person that’s concerned

Again, lots of people criticize Dak, and people don't react the same. Clearly the reason people react differently when Pappy does it is because if his ridiculous, illogical and juvenile approach to it, and how he forces the topic into so many threads and discussions even when the thread and discussion have nothing to do with Dak or the QBV position. He enters conversations he hasn't even been involved in throwing out his juvenile insults. The reactions he gets are because of the ridiculous way he goes about it. Of course, trying to get you to understand isn't going to work, because your approach has been to justify illogical and juvenile behavior by essentially saying "well ... but .. but ... but ...they were mean to me!". lol
