It kills me how this team is already telling everyone what they're going to do. I guess we like competitors jumping ahead of us to get the players we're interested in. Can these guys just keep quiet until after we get the player we are targeting?

Thats true,
I don't think TE is a priority, maybe saftey and DT

I'm certainly not against having a quality TE, but we just saw the best DT combo shut this run game down. A lot of people have been screaming for a DT for a long time and this team just doesn't seem to take the position seriously. Clamoring for another TE is kind of baffling at this point. I'd like to see a Travis Kelce or Rob Gronkowski too, but we're more likely to get the next Escobar.

I think we just need depth at TE

TE is a clear position of need. He’s telling the truth. It may not be our first pick but the Cowboys would love to add a TE to the offense.

It’s so easy to narrow down the Cowboys first round pick based on their biggest need.
I don't disagree but I think they like what they have at tight end. If they don't take a tight end with the 1st pick.....they'll basically be drafting another Schultz in the 3rd and 4th round.

What's it going to be then, eh?

So since we always spout off what we’re doing as far as the draft, I wonder who jumps ahead of us this year and gets our TE?
This is a pretty nice class. Some may call it deep, bit I expect it to be picked over before 58.

Just take Hockenson, Fant and Irv Smith out of your minds now.

If someone jumps the Cowboys for someone like Kaden Smith, I would not care.

So Stephen Jones saying it is a priority is only noteworthy if you can see them reaching for whatever tight end might be left.

What about letting young players develop? That's a big part of football. Can't have a steak on every plate. A TE who can catch 60 passes, block and just be productive. Jarwin and Schultz could at least be capable of this.
Folks here can't even let a QB develop much less a TE.

LOL Rams run for 270 yards and the teams making TE a priority????? Buffoons run the show here.
just because 1 team does it, but nobody else could. You dont have to hyperventilate, If teams could do it at will they would've been doing it.

Crap I misspelled Stephen's name, my bad.

Pff also confirmed that the tes we're targeted 80 times on 100% of the passing snaps and virtually did Nothing.

The problem is the Cowboys suck at picking tes. Just trade that 2nd round pick for a great te so we'll have a baller for the 2019 season. Otherwise itwill take 3 years before the te ever makes an impact.

Get a new tes coach also

That's why Beasely and Austin are not gonna be here next year. The cowboys give the scrub tes all the snaps and the slot wrs get the shaft.

Dallas is a slot wr killer. They offered Beasely 3 million and he laughed at them cuz he knows Belicheck will pay him 8-10mil per year and feature him as a starter.

You can't blame Austin or Beasely for wanting out

Gotta love the smoke screens this team runs for the draft. Its hilarious.
Listen..

this is classic mis-direction on our GMs part.

By declaring we are looking for a TE with our first pick..

Some will think he is bluffing and then who knows.

I agree about TE but would like a FA TE as to not use a pick on the position.

Whatever.

Yeah, no mention of Rico guys lol. Stephen gave Jarwin a pat on the back, and I kinda like Shultz but he wasn't mentioned much.

So looks like their drafting a TE1 with Jarwin as the TE2.

In other words, we aren't drafting a tight end. We are good for the next 6 years. Then a tight end in the second round for the next 3 years.
