Yes interesting. Like your unfounded post that Cole Beasley is one of the anonymous players. guess it's okay to throw the players under the bus but never Jason Garrett

I didn’t say he was. Or didn’t mean to. Only that it made sense that he would be. It’s 100% a guess on my part given that he’s a free agent, is outspoken, and liked the IG post critical of Jerry this week.

It’s also not throwing him under the bus. I have no issues with him hypothetically not liking Linehan, or saying so anonymously.

You, on the other hand, called Garrett a “slimey creature” based off of your wild-*** guesses.

It’s obvious to anyone Linehan was going to be the scapegoat. The name was being pushed out there heavily when Jason was on the hot seat halfway through the season and everybody was saying the Cowboys were idiots for letting Dez go. And the media continued with this push where everybody started ignoring Jason, while blaming Linehan more and more

Of course the media consistently ignores the fact that guys like Dooley and Linehan were all Garrett guys. So Garrett consistently marketed as a genius for brining in guys like Kiffen, Dooley, Linehan and others, but when they all ‘fail’, it’s as if the media suddenly forgets all this.

They are now throwing out names like the TE coach and Moore as having input in the offense, when these were guys brought in by Linehan. Clearly the media knows most Dallas fans are clueless, because they are buying this dumb story as if Linehan would not listen to input from guys he himself brought in.
Exactly. Until JG goes, nothing changes.

I'd be okay with that.
Patriots? Winning culture and organization. They consistently adapt and have remained one of the top teams in football for several years.
Rams? innovative offense
Chiefs? innovative offense
Saints? innovative offense and a winning culture led by Sean Payton.

Saints winning culture? Aside from 09 and this year they’ve been pretty underwhelming.

Can’t take the super bowl away but I don’t think they’ve done enough to call what they’ve done a ‘winning culture’

Bye Felinehan ..

Despite a quarterback who is at least above-average in Dak Prescott and arguably the best running back in the game in Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas had one of the most simplistic and uncreative offenses in the NFL.

After Linehan was axed after four seasons guiding the Cowboys offense, several anonymous Cowboys players said he added "nothing" to the offense.

Harsh? Well, not really.

Even with the midseason kick in the butt Amari Cooper provided, Dallas was a below-average offense. They ranked 22nd in points scored, 22nd in total yards, and 23rd in passing yards. Despite having Elliott in the backfield, they just barely cracked the top 10 in rushing yards.

With Linehan finally gone, we will finally get to see what Prescott will look like in a more creative, innovative offense.

You know what to do:

And if Dak sucks, then we know he was the problem and holding linehan and offense back by limiting the playbook. If we run more rollout and RPO and daks number dip and int go up. It will be telling, hopefully Dak is ready.

No..I meant suitable LT and I also forgot Safety. Thanks for the reminder. Tyron is a shell of his former self & should restructure his contract.
Still better then 3 quarters of the league and better then any rookie coming out of college

The Saints were a pretty bad franchise for years. Since his arrival, they have a .615 winning percentage, have made the playoffs 7 of his 12 years there, had coached all 8 of the franchise's playoff victories, and brought a Super Bowl to the organization. That Super Bowl was huge for that organization and their fans. We haven't sniffed one in 23 years so people may be underestimating just how important that actually is.

Without him they have a .401 winning percentage and 0 playoff wins. Which is why I included Sean Payton as part of the winning culture.

I don't think they had too. When the team was 3-5 they fired Paul Alexander and traded for Amari Cooper. You can't fire an OC in the middle of a season, there is just no way to install a new offense on the fly.

Garrett could have called plays. Nussmeier. Even Moore.

Anyone But Linehan.

Christmas came a little late. But it came.

IDK Geno, kinda like you can trash your own family but get pixxed when someone else does it. The truth is they've not said anything different from what we've heard from 99.9% of fans and media.
The family I would trash I sure as hell wouldn't care if anyone else did.

That's not entirely accurate. If Dak ends up sucking, we know that he was at least part of the problem and might have been holding Linehan back, but Linehan might have sucked all on his own anyway. Linehan has never amounted to much in the NFL as a Linehan coached team, in 17 years in the NFL, has NEVER gotten past a divisional round in the playoffs, and before the Cowboys has only made it to the Divisional round once. I don't care how well a coach's team does in the regular season multiple times. If they ALWAYS get stopped in the divisional round or earlier, chances are you found their coaching ceiling. Time to move on. (Yeah, that means that Garrett should be on the hot seat too.)

Now, I'm not defending Dak though I believe in him and think that if he improves a few things that he could go all the way, I'm just refuting that Dak turning out to suck doesn't automatically exonerate Linehan (or the crappy Garrett playbook).

Yeah ya did. Your exact post was "most definitely" re Beasley. Geez at least stand by your words.
I do. Garrett is slimy

Some were never worried about anonymity.

“It’s interesting, because I actually had another stop route on that play, and they were, if you were watching, really sitting on those stop routes,” Cooper said. “And I was like, this is ridiculous."
