If you fired everyone in the NFL that couldn't reduce the craptasticness in Brandon Weeden, you would have about four people left.
:lmao2: He was about the most underwhelming of capabilities and a total disappointment as a player in the backup Q.B.positiono_O

I am sure most players have performance bonuses in their contracts. How many guys lost out on some $$$$ because SL was a horrible play caller who refused to change.

They weren’t any wrinkles. Two of the TDs were basic post routes by Jarwin that the Giants secondary blew coverage on leaving him open and Dak had really good blocking on them.
Difference is that he threw the route. Looking at his pass patterns he rarely uses the route. Dak wanted to play that game and had major influence on the playcalls. And you could tell it wasn’t a Linehan called game. Dak was moving around and throwing on the run. Now we were playing a giants team that really didn’t care but Dak still wanted to improve his game. I liked it. But like usual we find something that works and then go right back to the normal.

Well...they were asked the question. I think a lot of fans, analysts, players, and competitors would have said the same thing. If not, it would be a lie.

I obviously wasn’t a Dez-cancer guy, but Sean Lee had some fairly harsh words for Dez after he was released and called Lee a snake.

Dez wasnt a cancer, but was a immature distraction. Poor leader. Cry baby type. Loud mouth. Pouter. Bad example for the young guys. And despite your signature, Dez talked smack about Garrett after he left. Like some others have done.

If it was that bad then I wonder why players didn’t go to JJ. He is a players owner that says his door is always open to his players. Now we are “hearing” that JG wanted him gone last year. Maybe that’s why JJ gave Linehan more input into the Offense. Kind of like here is enough rope to hang yourself with.
How do you know they didn’t?
Do you think Dez wasn’t giving Jerry an earful also at that concert?

If you have ever been in a senior leadership role in an organization you would understand the mixed signals and reaction to “going to JJ”. It’s up to leadership to go to the players and not the other way around.

To little to late. Things fester up. And maybe that’s because leadership didn’t go to the players? Do you think it’s because the players don’t see JG as the power guy that can get things done. Apparently he didn’t even know Linehan was going. I don’t think that JG is a total puppet. But I do wonder what kind of power or how much he has.

I for one applaud their honest opinion which isn’t accepted in that PC bubble I keep avoiding on accident. Why is hard work from a player under scrutiny but laziness from a coach exemplified?

If I had someone who was hurting me rather than helping me, I wouldn't be sorry to see them go either. The fact is that Linehan is getting off easy because the players who are still employed here know that they'd only get in trouble voicing their true feelings in public.

people are going to find out real quick about Dak, no more excuses.

And if the players felt Linehan brought nothing you can thank JG for allowing this to continue over several years and it looked like he was going to let it continue this year
Good.. It's about time people found out about my boy Dak and it's beyond time for him to be surrounded by help and not hindrance.

And if Dak sucks, then we know he was the problem and holding linehan and offense back by limiting the playbook. If we run more rollout and RPO and daks number dip and int go up. It will be telling, hopefully Dak is ready.
I look forward to it all.:popcorn:

I dont believe for one second that JG wanted Linehan gone. He had just stated that their would not be any coaching changes. Also, they both regard each other as "friends".

That's the biggest and worst lie that some are trying to push right now. It's insulting.
