I asked you to explain to me how he was a bus driver in this game. You're avoiding this. Explain. I'll wait.
He was 3 yards short of 300 yards. ORRRRRR, maybe it was the lower pts per drive than last week. Couldn't handle the pressure. Lemme read some more forum posts and translate

SUPERBOWL

SUPERBOWL Bus Driver, 3 years in and SB and that is why he was drafted #1.

Super Bowl stuff is funny, despite him throwing 560 times this year and winning a shootout against the Chiefs by throwing the ball 45 times.

I agree with the OP, Goff was a bus driver for three quarters and then was clutch at the end. Kind of reminds me of some one else....can't quite put my finger on it.....seems like there is a kid from that same draft that actually has led more 4th quarter comebacks than any one not named Tom Brady....geeez, who is it? Hmmm. Seems like this kid has a less talented team around him and has worked under a much less creative OC too, but still is the total man at the end of games.....hmmmmm. WHO IS IT? Something tells me the kid is a 4th rounder. Dang!!!! Tip of my tongue.....can someone help me with this?

I think both Goff and Wentz both have shown the ability to play at a high level. With Wentz, it comes down to if he can stay healthy. Goff has the most upside to be the best.

A QB throwing 561 times in a season, winning a shootout with one of the most prolific offenses in NFL history, winning a championship game by using his arm. He's not a bus driver.

Goff is more than a bus driver. Dak is Alex Smith.
Dak keeps running and he’s gonna end up with a broken leg like Alex. Dak isn’t even as good as Smith in my opinion. Dak is a poor mans Alex Smith.

All I know is the process has them in the SB within 3 years. NOt sure the rest matters too much
Agreed McVay is light years ahead this staff that gets trotted out on a yearly basis. My point is McVay goes a long way in covering Goff's warts, Dak does not have a coach with the ability to that. I will say Goff is a much more accurate passer though.

....yeah, very comparable. Doing a comeback against the Commanders is very comparable to a comeback against the Saints in a championship game.

I remember Dak fumbling away the game against the Saints in a similar situation. Luckily, our D stepped up.

You are right, but Goff was the golden boy, the can't-miss franchise quarterback.

Nobody said those things about Dak. He was seen as a system QB in a gadget offense. He overcame a lot more than Goff, who played in a pro style scheme at Cal.

Not even considering the difference Sean McVay made for Goff. As a rookie Goff was total garbage.
Dak was far ahead in kindergarten too I hear.

Did you watch the game? He missed many throws. He looked awful much of the time. They are lucky as h____ with the no call. Both quarterbacks were middling at best. Dak is every bit as good.
Dak is home watching Ray Donovan, Goff is headed to the Super Bowl. #1 pick vs Late 4th round, it obviously makes a huge difference.

yeah, going back into serious mode, I wish Dak would return how he was in 2016 and throw the ball before he reaches the line of scrimmage. I don't like my quarterbacks to run, because that is good short term wise, but I don't want a QB to have a short lifespan lik a running back.

Looking at these playoff games defenses can stuff the run and that’s why it’s so important to have a QB that can make plays under pressure.

There are too many variables in football. You should know this.
Would Goff be the guy you want him to be without McVey? Would Mahomes be the guy he is without Reid? Wentz is a question mark and he has a great offensive coach.

The rams offense is very effective. How much of this is McVey and how much is Goff?

You can trade for either Goff or McVey.....which one are you taking?
You can trade for either Wentz or Peterson...which one are you taking?
Now how many people would take Jason Garrett over Dak?

I’ll wait....

To the untrained eye people can’t see that Goff is better than Dak. But the Rams went on the road ina hostile environment and aside form that bad call they outplayed the saints in the second half and won with Goff being a major contributor to the win. Those quick throws to the tight end outside with the defender In Goff’s face were great throws. All through these playoff games I saw QBs make throws to guys that were tightly covered but the defender wasn’t looking and the pass was completed with high accuracy. Dak can’t make those throws!
Exactly, ty! The eyes tell you that the former #1 pick is just playing with more God given talent . It’s like having a Prime Ribeye and then having a Choice Ribeye, the difference is readily noticed.
