Anyone that thinks Dak is on the same level as these two QBs doesnt realize that the difference is the ability to throw the ball into an accurate spot so the WR or RB or TE doesnt have to stop running. Its also consistency. Dak makes throws but he sure does miss them high and wide too. And yes all QBs miss throws but its who makes more of the good throws. Daks arm loses accuracy the farther he has to throw downfield. And Yes all QBs lose accuracy the farther the target but once again its about who makes more accurate throws down the field. Dak can do what a lot of these QBs can do but the problem is he cant do it anywhere near as consistent. 1-10 on 3rd down conversion in that Rams game is just an example of how important 3rd down conversions are to winning playoff games. Daks inaccuracy is affecting all aspects of this team. If your ok with mediocre seasons and a big regular season win once in a while than Daks your man. If you want to win playoff games and a SB Dak is a boy among men when it comes to his physical abilities as a QB.
Yup.
Think of Dak vs top QBs as doing repair work.
Some settle for "good enough". Those people will do average work, poor prep, but try to present a decent product when it's not, as long as the customer sees a shiny product they'll think highly of it.
Then you have other companies that take the time to do the job right. They don't settle for "good enough" they make sure that you're getting the best product.
Customers generally don't care what they get as long as it works NOW and it's cheap. That's Dak and his diehard defenders. The people that truly care won't settle for average quality, they want long term solutions.
