Hopefully we can get Dez back as WR coach so he can teach them all how to run routes, as well as the correct way to drop balls that hit in the hands, chest, and face.......that would be invaluable.

I think the issue that I have a problem with is the comfort level the FO has with its own roster and coaches. “We like our guys” is a pretty consistent theme— and they favor “continuity” vs the unpredictability of change or just adding someone “new” simply bc they are new.

What I am advocating for is a true, honest evaluation of what is in place followed by some difficult decisions that require some hard change.

They seem content bc they believe they are “close” to being contenders— and that is not the reality of the situation in my opinion. How many more losses do we have to endure in the postseason to confirm that the current situation is not working?

How many losses? Obviously more than one every other year ;)

Please forward this to Front office.

I think CowboysZone alone could muster up a respectable enough number of signatures to sign this as an official petition.

Excellent post, by the way.

4-5 here as well.

Was it always a "bad team" excuse for his entire career?

50-74 is not "good", it's awful.
Lmao, yes they were awful EVERY year. Late 90s Seahawks? Early 2000s Bengals? And to rip him for his Cowboys record is a JOKE. Didnt he play the year Wade was fired mid season?

The "JOKE" is some guy on the internet tying to prop up Jon Kitna while trying to blame anything and everything else for his failures.

Lmao

Kellen taking over at OC? Ironic that the "pupil and preferred son of Linehan" may now take his dying breath "et tu Kellen"!! It's gonna be a hatefilled week on here. Oh my my....

Yeah I know right? 2010 Cowboys were legit Super Bowl contenders before Jon Kitna went in there and ruined it all. LOL

Well I guess according to your "logic", your hero Kitna was a better quarterback than Romo. After all, he won more games that year...

Kitna was a plus when he played. Understood getting the ball out of his hands. Turned around our offense in 2010. A wily vet. We could use a lot more wily on our offensive staff.

Probably not the best QB coach in the league, but this would be a serious, grown up hire for our Clown Team.

What in the world difference does it make if he had big success as a player? That has never been a requirement for being a good coach.
