Obviously the coaches are not trying to lose but history has shown coaches "under Garrett" are
sacrificed when the wheels of the process fail to go round and round

Garrett isn't the only head coach that changes underlings when things don't go well, and my point is that doing so is generally an attempt to improve, not to find a scapegoat. The only difference with Garrett is that the owner/GM has been excessively patient with him.

I don't like this move at all because it's risky. If it doesn't pan out, they will just fire Moore and move on. It places no accountability on Garrett or the coaching staff.
Jerry is not extending Garrett. so this is the year they got to show it....if it doesn't work out, then they all go. so not a bad move. if they totally redesigned the offense then Garrett would have to be extended to allow it to work. this is improving the play calling and some of the play designs....without completely redoing everything.

And I don't think everything has to be completely redone to be successful. I can't remember who said this, but somewhere within the last few weeks I read an article or saw an interview that said the basic formations and plays the Rams run aren't much different than the Cowboys, but they disguise things better with motion and shifts and misdirection. Those are all things that were significant elements of the Boise State offense Moore ran, so I assume he understands the value of those things.

I agree. play calling is key and what combination of routes you call for a play is key. also some pre-snap formations to confuse the defense. to your point, Rams have like 10 formations and run all their plays from those. so it also comes down to execution.

hopefully Kitna can focus this off season on Dak's footwork and that should help his accuracy tremendously. he gets an off season with Cooper, so that should help him too. and lets see what happens on game day.... how moore will do. yes, there is some growing up to do, but garrett will be involved.

If defense plays well but offense sputters could see Richard taking over as head coach and doing a complete makeover on offense.

Remember last year, when we were all so sure Kellen Moore wasn't qualified to be the QB coach, even though he was coaching under a really experienced guy like Linehan? Lol.

Naked huh...... Well, that will certainly make it more interesting. NFL will do anything, it seems, to gain more female viewership, it seems.

;)
Uhhh... choosing Kellen seems... flawed?

Linehan ran misdirection.

That is, when he had an offensive line proven trustworthy enough to run misdirection... 2016, for instance.

It always comes back to that.

To the degree you can't trust your offensive line, it seriously constricts what you have confidence in running.
Ya... and well..
As Cowboys fans aren't we willing to try anything different within the coaching ranks these days?
Im there.

This is hilarious and I can't wait for next year.

My guess is that Moore will flop. Big time.
Maybe, just maybe, but then again, what do we have to lose at this point.
No pun intended.
