FoxSports: Clay Travis: Dakota Prescott addresses Cole Beasley's tweets

I beg to differ.

If we had played the Rams at home..

I believe we would have won.

We beat the Saints, too.

If we had played better the first half of the year and not gone 3-5..

It would have been a different year for us.

I think this team knows they are close.

I think we all do.

Except you maybe.

What I see there is if, if, if... Simple answer is we didn't.

All teams have ifs. In the end they are just things teams were unable to do. Heck, we have had basically nothing but ifs for almost 25 years.

*Note: Not to be negative just tired of years of "ifs"

Another side of the argument is...

If the defense didn't carry this team for a few games during that winning streak, they wouldn't have even been in the playoffs.

Ifs don't cut it because it's something that either hasn't happened, or happened but not the way it may have "if" some other factor was or wasn't involved.

There are known knowns, known unknowns and unknown unknows. The unknown unknowns is your "if" scenario quickdraw.

We have been STOMPED by the Rams 2 years in a row. The first game was more of a blowout than the score resembled.

I guess if you go by that..

we might as well quit playing.

:omg:

Glad I do not follow your line of thinking.

I would never have succeeded at anything that wasn't easy.

My point was, don't say we would've beaten the Rams at home, that is an absurd assumption given they've had our number. At no point did I say don't try, it's just IGNORANT to assume, based on recent history, that we somehow found the talent and coaches to make the game somewhat competitive against the Rams to say definitively, "Cowboys would've won". Some of you need to think a little out the box when something is said rather than just attacking the post.

the players may think they are but that doesn't mean they are.

Dallas is no where near the rams, KC, NO, and NE

Or else some fans *think* they’re not and maybe it’s the players who are right.

how would these players or coaches have any idea where they are at they haven't been deep enough into the playoffs to know what it takes or how close they are

Forged in fire is very relevant...

why wouldn't they , They beat NO, and only lost by 8 to the rams, id say closer then you think..hating on your own team isn't a good look..NE is more beatable then they used to be , KC not sure great matchup but they would be up to the challenge..

Dak's definitely quick with the responses. Was this whole thing set up as a plug for the Sleep Number Bed?

BTW OP, the title was really misleading, seeing as he said very little about Beasley.

Yes, that's why most Celebrities/Athletes do the radio row interviews.
