This trade is all about pressure on Elway to win NOW. IMO this is saying he wants nothing to do with relying on rookie QB to starting immediately. He's screwed up this position a couple times and at least two of the owner's kid want him out now but legalities complicate things.

I've never been a Flacco fan. Outside of his excellent Super Bowl run, he's been average or below average. Good for him for leveraging that run into a $100M contract. But he basically stole that money.

I don't blame a guy for making a good sale.
