Agreed.

Dak isn’t perfect. He was part of the issues.

But he has also performed pretty well in the redzone with the right players around him too.

So erod insinuating the redzone issues are solely because of Dak, doesn’t hold water.
He’s probably part of the problem.

The bigger issue is like when we lost Zeke and didn’t have Cooper for example , Daks weaknesses are more exposed.

We aren’t always going to be able to surround him with elite talent at all of the key positions along with a Pro Bowl type OL. At some point he will have to carry us more.

"Other players make Dak look better, good QBs make other players look better"

Cooper gets traded to the team and going from Carr to Dak makes Cooper go from afterthought to a star. He made Cooper better.

"He can't win without Zeke, Zeke makes the offense go not Dak"
Well the team averages 20.57 points per game in the 7 games Zeke has missed the last two years. Which is more than when Zeke has played the last two years, but sure it's Zeke. And the team is 4-3 in those games. The last two years we average more yards per pass attempt AND more yards per carry when he's not on the field than on the field too. But dont let facts fool you.

What am I missing?
If a QB throws a pass, and a receiver catches it, who is it that made who look better?

What are you missing?

Subtract the completely meaningless Giants game, and readjust your average. That is terrible.

Then explain to me 15 consecutive quarters with a single touchdown.

Then please give me your reasons behind the Colts shutout and the Titans embarrassment at home.

This offense is bad, especially its passing game.

I'm not going to cut out the Giants game. There's absolutely no reason to as both teams were playing all out. Even if I did it wouldn't move the needle much.

Lmao just cherry picking offenses outputs that have no common theme.

I can do it to, explain these games:
Jags, Giants, Commanders, Eagles, Eagles, Bucs, 9ers, Commanders 2017, Commanders 2017, Packers, Rams 2017, Giants 2017. Lol

Fair. But I would counter that not many 3rd year QB’s can carry a team. I would like to hear somebody name one actually

Maybe Peyton Manning? But then again even he had Harrison back then.

What weaknesses were exposed of Dak when we lost Zeke? Why do we keep saying this?

You think we'll have to surround him with worse talent than he had this year at some point? Looney, XSF, Jarwin Schultz or Swaim, Hurns, Beasley, rookie Gallup. That's not screaming talent at all.

I give you facts, you give me "if you watch the games" as if anyone here doesnt watch the games.

It's just embarrassing. That none of your arguments are fact based. None of them.

LMAO THE COWBOYS HAVE BEEN 4TH, 9TH, AND 19TH IN POINTS PER DRIVE in all three of Dak's seasons. So stop lying and saying one of the lowest scoring teams in the league. You're embarrassing yourself.

"Defensive coordinators toy with Dak, I have no evidence but I'm going to say it".

Points per drive? LOL

FACTS: 15 CONSECUTIVE QUARTERS WITH ONLY ONE TOUCHDOWN. 22-nd RANKED SCORING OFFENSE. 23rd-RANKED PASSING OFFENSE.

Put the pom-poms down and watch the games.

If he played for the Eagles, you'd trash him like he was the worst QB in football, which I would NOT do.

Cowboys fans. Gotta love them.

Yeah, like those who say "if you take the couple of deep passes away, they're all short and intermediate throws."

Huh?

Fait point, I will say I think some things I have heard with Moore about using the pass to setup the run will put more emphasis on the passing game that should losing up defenses so that Zeke is not dealing with the fronts he has seen thus far. As far as I know most of the top QB do have elite players on their teams that play big roles. They depend on the QB but the QB also depends on them. This notion Brady has played with no one is ridicules

That's when you know a person doesnt know anything about football when they use bulk stats.

Why would you use total points scored on a slow paced offense that limits possessions? Are you admitting that are ignorant to foothall?

Even if we wanted to use 22nd, that's "one of the worst offenses in the league". Holy hyperbole. You sound just like a woman.

Huh?

Or the people that disparage yards per carry by saying if you take out the long runs the average would be less - as if that isn't the same for every RB.

We see Goff and Mahomes. They’re both within 3 years. Two of the best offenses and QB’s.

But how many years do you need to start holding him more accountable? I’m not interested in the blame game. I like much of what Dak brings but his weaknesses are a concern.

I’d certainly like our chances better with a more prolific passing QB. Not sure why everyone is so content with 22nd ranked offense and 16th ranked QB?

Jags were horrible. Got beat up all year.

Giants were horrible. Fired their coach again.

49ers just gawd awful.

Commanders were horrible, and they beat Dallas.

Eagles were missing their entire secondary. The game there was a great effort by Dallas.

Bucs were horrible. Are you kidding?

Packers missing entire secondary and two linebackers, and still beat Dak, who couldn't do a thing the first half.

Goff outplayed Dak in Dallas.

Good teams typically skull this team the past 2 1/2 years. And that's with a good Cowboys roster, too.

Dallas manages to win games in spite of Dak, but rarely because of his impact.

It's a problem.

They both play on two of the most talented offenses in the league.

Mahomes is a legit stud. But he still is surrounded by a ton of talent.

Dak is not horrible. But he's not that good either.

Hanging $150 million on him is not much different than the deals signed with Osweiler, Keenum, Culpepper, Tannehill, Schaub, Hoyer, Bortles, Glennon, old Palmer, etc, etc, etc.....

We can't be that team, can we?

Make him play and earn it another year under this contract.

He's HORRIBLE.....Cowboys 23 rd in the league in passing....Cowboys 26th in Red zone TD....58 sacks...12 fumbles and he's non accurate, has no pocket or downfield presence and a more flaws etc etc.....

YES he's a Horrible Bus driving QB and some here will be surprised when he will not be offered that HUGE QB contract this off-season.....don't be even the Jones aren't that stupid!!!

Yea!!!!
Another thread where we pretend a guy who completed 67% of his passes with 67 TD's and only 25 Int and a career QB rating of 96 can't throw the football well enough to play at this level.
LOL @ equating completion percentage and accuracy. Especially for a guy who is bottom 10 in air yards per attempt.

You've so lost this argument. LOL, just give up.

Stats are useless. You want them as "facts", but when they don't suit you, they're "bad" stats. I'm just playing your sophomoric game here.

Dallas doesn't score. They failed to score more than 17 points six times this year. Even worse last year.

Period.

Open. Your. Eyes.

That's the only "stat" you need to describe this offense.

Richard/Marinelli were absolute geniuses in 2018, and took this 5-11 offense to an 11-5 season.

What a bunch of sorry *** excuses HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

We had the most points against the Jags all season 19 points a game allowed. Colts how shut out by them. Even less if you take our game out.

You know absolutely nothing about football.
