A map room :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
The main reason I have been going through everything I own and getting rid of things is because I plan to move this year and I want to downsize.

I ran across these items this weekend ..

These are not photos of my items but mine are in great condition as well.

I'm getting this way on my consoles. It's just so much more convenient, especially if you are game sharing with a friend (I am).

Also, I was happy to find software updates for my Simcity games to work with Win 10 last year. I was stoked. I've always been a Simcity fanatic (Simcity 3000 was the best imo). My physical copies I own are otherwise useless.
I have become a huge GOG fan the last several months. It was so hard getting rid of games I had held on to since the 1990s and finding many (not all of course) of them on GOG has been very helpful in removing the "regret" feeling I have from getting rid of so many games.

I love that with GOG you get DRM-free versions of every game too because for some of those games I had you were screwed if you lost your discs or they became damaged.

Yup! That is exactly where I got my Simcity games. :)

Anybody own a Nintendo Switch? Thoughts on it? I've been kicking around the idea. I don't have any young kids, I just enjoy games, plus Nintendo usually makes simpler games that I could include with the wife. She gets overwhelmed with all the PS4/Xbox buttons.
I have been thinking about getting one when I start traveling this year because they use a lot less power than a PS4 or Xbox One. What I really want to see happen is for Nintendo to add a lot of N64 games to their online service. I would buy it immediately if they did that :D

I don't but have considered getting one just for the latest Zelda, I have heard it is amazing.

Sorry all, a little late on this, but Far Cry 5 is in the PSN and Xbox stores for $15. Not bad. I bought it this weekend. Just a heads up for anybody who might be interested

My gf has one and I bought Doom and Bayonneta 2 on there which were really fun. Last handheld I had was a vita and this is worlds better in terms of comfort/hand cramps, but also looks good hooked up on HDMI to your TV but got an xbox like controller for it for that. I was hesitant thinking it would be more kid friendly but they have lots of good AAA games on there as well.

Good to hear. I'm getting closer and closer to pulling the trigger. It just kills me to know how much money I have dropped on consoles over the last couple years haha :D

Nope, but I've been thinking about buying one more and more since seeing this:

My grandkids have one and I have decided to get one because of the Mario games. I have great memories of losing to my sons when those first started coming out. And being banned, by my wife, from OddWorld because I went overboard making Abe fart and laugh and set a poor example.

One thing that is mandatory with it is the Pro Controller because the ones that come with it are for really small hands. And that's my reason for going Switch and not the other two with many more games to choose from, too many buttons and I do not have the manual dexterity and reflexes I had when games first came out.

Thanks for the feedback all! The Mario does look really good plus I'm pretty sure I saw they have Mario Party for it. Those are fun. Used to play them a bunch with friends on the Nintendo GameCube.

Also, side note, the more I play Apex Legends the more I love it. Respawn did a great job with it.
