Absinthe is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration and, until recently, was completely banned in the U.S. and most of Europe. The reason for this is that absinthe contains thujone, a toxic chemical found in several edible plants including tarragon, sage, and wormwood.

No, the first time i ever heard of it was in the movie eurotrip, or whatever it's called.
The first time i ever heard about it was in a Johnny Depp movie called From Hell.
It was about a detective in Victorian England investigating the Jack the Ripper murders.

I don't even remember the first time I heard of it.........Maybe I'd had some. :muttley:

Ernest Hemingway wrote under its influences as well as Vincent Van Gouh painted under it's influence.

Are u sipping it now? Cheers
I used to drink moonshine at a friends/neighbors house when i was a teenager/high school in the early morning as a wake up call, maybe 10 times total. When i went to Croatia in 2006 they were selling shots of moonshine for like one US dollar, might of been less than that can't remember exactly :lmao:. Wishing now i had ordered some Absinthe just to try it out back then.

Have u ever had a shot of green dragon?

It is said it has hallucinogenic properties.
That's what I've always heard. Now that I think about it, I think one of my English teachers in high school told us about it. Not that he'd ever tried it, just explained what it was. I think it was mentioned in a story we were reading.
