Depends.

Lawrence won't get his shoulder fixed until after he gets his long term deal. If that's in July, there is a chance he starts on the PUP list.

Gives us a chance to trade him to a team willing to sign him to a long term deal. I wonder what we could get for him.

There was talk of trading Spencer when we refranchised him, but the market for DEs seemed to collapse that year. Maybe it will be better this year.

Yeah that’s false from Zach Martin to Dez deals never get done March 1st. Jerry even says deadlines are the best deal makers. It’s all about negotiating power, when it comes to business I think JJ’s got it.

I guess I don’t understand why he does t get the surgery. It would seem to me that a player would want to be 100 ready what if cowboys pull the tag then any team negotiating with him could use it against him especially if it’s drags into summer
