As an aside, I am really surprised and disappointed that Rod Marinelli is sticking around yet another year. I didn't see that coming if Richard stayed with the Cowboys. I thought for sure that would force Marinelli out. Which needs to happen for this team to take the next step defensively. Get his voice out of the personnel meetings.
Doubt it.
I'm hoping the Cowboys will be interested.
Here to stick it again to you, stud.
Joey Ivie, then they cut him at the end of camp and didn't want him on the practice squad.Who was this for, Taco? But seriously I don't know.
Dallas could sign some of these released Jaguars and upgrade their roster significantly.
You cant ignore yourselfI don't want to start a thread for every player released but the Jaguars are also releasing Carlos Hyde.
I would not be surprised if he ends up as Zeke's backup. Reunite the Ohio St. boys.
Edit - I didn't see Alexander's post because I have him on ignore.

Yup....that Rams playoff loss is all on him....and you can't convince me other wise. That was the worst defensive game plan I've ever seen....and when it was apparent we were getting gashed in the run game....we did nothing to adjust.
In 2013 the Eagles were 3-5 when Foles took over as QB. He led them to a 7-1 record over the last 8 games of the season and they made the playoffs. The Eagles went 10-6 and lost by 2 points to the Saints in the 1st round
In 2014 he led the Eagles to a 5-2 record prior to getting hurt. Sanchez finished the season and failed to get the Eagles in the playoffs.
In 2015 (his only bad year) he struggled through 11 games under Jeff Fisher.
In 2016 he looked good when he got to play with the Chiefs but he was the back up to Alex Smith
In 2017 he went 2-1 to end the regular season after Wentz got hurt. The one loss was the last game of the season and Sudfield finished the game because it was meaningless. He then won 3 straight playoff games to win a SB.
In 2018 he went 1-1 to start the season and then the Eagles struggled under Wentz and were sitting at 6-7 when he took over. He won the last 3 regular season games which were the equivalent of playoff games and then 1 the first playoff game on the road against the Bears. Lost to the Saints in a game they may have won if Jeffery does not allow the ball to go through his hands for an int.
So, since 2013 he is 18-5 in the regular season as a starter for the Eagles (under 2 different coaching staffs) and 4-1 as a starter in the playoffs. Again, what has Teddy Bridgewater done?
SIGN HIM.
He won't affect the compensatory pick process and fills a huge need. No brainer.
is he as good as 2 or 3 years ago?I wanted him when he was an FA 2 or 3 years ago. Really hope we make a move for him. He will help our defense far more than Earl Thomas would.

This is exactly why people who are talking about cap hell all the time need to take a step back and get their information from people who aren’t sucking on the Jones’ teets. The Jaguars went all in and signed a ton of people to make a run. It didn’t work and they are aggressively cutting people to create even more cap space. Meanwhile people here actually believe we can’t do anything in FA or we’re going to be losing all these winning pieces left and right.Jags went from being $2.6 million under the cap to $24.2 million under the cap with these moves. I'm sure some of that is set aside to sign Nick Foles.
I'm hoping the Cowboys will be interested.
Yup, I remember it well. I'm usually fairly well versed on draft prospects and I was like.... "Who?"Joey Ivie, then they cut him at the end of camp and didn't want him on the practice squad.
