I'm not here to say what's right or wrong as far as free agency, but we are not the Patriots. No team should try to emulate how they operate UNLESS they have a Bellichek running the show. Carry on....

I didnt say we were?
Poster said that we know for sure Pats will be active early in free agency, I pointed out we don't actually know that and history says theywon't. .

So you are basically saying they are whining to be whining. Since they don't think anything will result from it, they are just whining to be whinging. Kind of like an annoying old aunt or uncle in the family that is always complaining about this or that.

Good to know that many just like to whine to hear themselves whine. So you got that going for you, which is nice.

This is so Obvious that this is a Captain Obvious Tweet by Archer.

Yet the faux outrage will be in full force.

Faux outrage? This franchise has been a mediocre joke for over 2 decades now and this front office refuses to upgrade certain positions, especially safety. But if fans speak out about it, they are not true fans and we are just complaining. This roster right now is not good enough to win anything of substance. We finally have cap room to make some upgrades. But nope, we will continue to do the same things every offseason and then wonder why we get the same results at the end of the season.

dont know why any one is upset this is what Stephen said that they were going to do

If Stephen said they were trading DLaw for a 7th I guess we should all be okay with that because its what he said they were going to do. So we aren't supposed to disagree with what Stephen says they are going to do simply because he tells us first?

You moaners and whiners need to find another team...I hear the Browns and Bengals are looking for zone fans.
Mosey on over to greener pastures and do some grazing.

Actually, yes, there was a post where he completely, totally, and utterly refuted what you tried to claim. Maybe you missed it?

He mentioned the Patriots trading for Bennett before free agency, that's it. Point out the post you're referring to

Or maybe you can try to refute it yourself after you cant find his post?

Here you go:

Not all that true. Last year they signed Clayborn in the first week. Before 2017, they signed Gilmore and Guy in the first three days of FA. Prior to the 2015 season, they signed Jabaal Sheard the first few days of FA.

And now you can feel free to hang your head.

LOL I started that the Patriots are known for staying out of the 1st week of free agency and you come back with them trading for Bennett, which wasnt even a free agency move lol.

So there really was no counterpoint to what I said. It's true that the smart teams on average don't get involved in over paying at the start of free agency, like I pointed out with the Patriots.

That's your post right? Or did some moron hack your account while you were away?

You can keep your L. No need for me to take it from you.

Of ourse you have nothing to refute my post. Per usual.

Other than this:

Problem is, that gets us to where we were.

We still need a few pieces to get over that hump.

Fielding the same exact team will not result in different results

I agree. But I think the big ticket guys will be our own. Hopefully we can pull in some decent guys to fill out key spots. But we have a lot of top guys of our own to sign. It’s not going to be easy.

Are we poor? Do we think we just recently won the super bowl? Are we over the cap by 200 million?

So the FO mentality is to sign the players we have to keep the same team intact that got smacked all over L.A., ignore players in FA who can get us to the next level, let one of our most important pieces in Beasley walk without replacing him, and then expect to go further than where we got last season.

That's the game plan.

Now stop complaining and wave those pom-poms:angry:
