What an fn scrub player average butt hurt player popping off.

Romo made a ton of dudes money. Guys already listed them but Dez owns to record , written going to the Hof. Who threw the ball to them? Who is now sitting on top of all the cowboys records as a qb. ? Who was undrafted but put together a good 10 yr career with terrible coaching ?
Who sat and learned for a few years with excellent coaching? Don't leave that out when you go off to fantasy island where Romo did it all himself.

Well you let them tell it Romo coaches himself up. Sean Payton and Parcells learned everything they know from Romo lol.

Romo was a fantastic QB. Dak doesn't even have the possibility of getting to that level. I've never heard a peep about his leadership or lack thereof before, so i'll take what *jason hatcher* says with the tiniest grain of salt.

Romo didn’t make Dez or Witten. Stop insulting their careers with that nonsense.
Really what happened since he left? all of the left overs had their worst years as pros.

He for sure aided in their careers. He even had a great connection with TO.

It’s a 2 way street. Those guys had success with Romo that they may not have had with just any scrub.

Numbers don’t lie. He got them the damn ball. Period.

Hatcher out here saying stuff that's already been known. Romo and Witten only dealt with eachother period. I was so happy when both were finally gone. Now we bring witten back who's talent doesn't help enough. He's not a leader in the locker room either.

I said the same thing at the time. Not just about Romo but the whole team. They always acted like they had won something but they never did. They were living off the reputations of past Cowboy teams. And they always came up short. As for Garrett only the real Garrett homer doesn't believe this. But I suppose Hatcher is only another disgruntled ex-Cowboy.

That's because T.O. made Romo better. He elevated him.

Blind. Mic drop I’m out,

the truth is in the numbers. I’m not having a debate with a sports idiot.

Let me know when dak actually catches up and his tight ends and side recovers have career years and get a huge contract because of him. Right now all those numbers are down since romo left not up. I like dak and can support both without being blind to reality. Romo is and was better then dak period. Hopes are dak continues to get better.

Yep, the great Romo.
Everytime he chucks a errant pass he points at the receiver. Not a leader.

Sometimes you just gotta laugh at things. Did you miss the last post I quoted you in? That one was actually serious.

Murray, Church, Dez, and many others (Durant, etc) were frequently at Romo's house. Don't spew unless you know what you talking about

I don't care about the numbers game, who made who better, who got who paid, not not of that. I supported and criticized Romo same as I do for Dak. I care about winning a SB whether it's Dak, someone else or a damn alien makes no difference to me.

These are the offensive scores the first 7 games
I think Phillips was fired after 7 games.
7,20,27,27,21,35,17.
Not to backup Hatcher, but those aren't the offensive scores. The 20 is actually 13 - Dez had a punt return TD. The 35 is 28 - Dez had a punt return TD. Some other points in that game were also garbage points after the Giants scored 31 straight (the last 7 came with :40 left and the 8 before that with just 3:17 left). So, in the first 7 games, the offense scored over 21 only 3 times and averaged 20 pts per game. And if you add in the 7 in the 8th game (after which is when Wade got fired, not after 7), that drops to 18.4 ppg. A very poor showing.

I do think the jump in points the 2nd half of the season was primarily due to the defense getting a lot more turnovers.

The bottom line here is if you are the QB and the team hasn't won anything other than a few division titles and early playoff games, you will eventually catch heat.

Staubach, Aikman, Montana, Brady, Rodgers, Wilson etc, etc, etc....like Romo...none of them hung out (or hang out) with the guys either, in general. Certainly not defensive guys.
QBs, generally, don't
In fact, Romo may've hung out more than some of those guys.

But people won't stab you in the back like a ***** quite as much if you (and your team) have more skins on the wall.
Just how it is

You lost me at still comparing Murray to Zeke. I don’t care how many yards Murray had in 2014 that offensive line was stacked and playing at their peak. Zeke is far more talented than Murray.

I would take Murray at 7 million per year over Zeke at 15 million I will tell you that. Zeke is better, but not that much better. Murray is a stud on and off the field, leader. Zeke is a moron.
