You still failed to list all of those QB's that got monster contracts immediately after their rookie contract were up. As I said it has happened but very very seldom, certainly not often enough to lump Prescott in as one that will get it.
I failed to list them because like I previously said googles your friend. I also get nothing from showing you you don't know I what the expletive you're talking about on this so if you want to know how wrong you are use google. If not keep being ignorant and thinking you're right when anybody that cares to do a quick google search can see on this topic you're lacking knowledge. I'll give you one example though Matt Ryan. That alone shows you don't know what you're talking about and you used him as an example smh.

Thank you so much for proving you are the one that is wrong. Your big example, Matt Ryan, didn't get his monster deal until his 10th year in the league. His contract before that which was just extended to what it is now but prior to the extension. the most he was going to make was last season at 23 mil. The only reason they did the extension early was because the falcons came off a trip to the Super Bowl and they felt they had a really good chance of going again last season and the falcons thought the price would be higher then. But again thanks for proving my point. That was really sporting of you.

The only point I proved is you’re not smart at all and that’s sad. He got 100 million after the rookie deal so what the hell are you talking about? Smarten up. You think rookie contracts are 10 years now? Dang you’re dumb on this topic.

Matt Ryan's rookie contract was for 6 years, before they started the 4 years for a 1st round. He then signed a 5 year contract with bonuses kept him at the high teens to low 20 mil a year, still less than QB's like Brees and Big Ben. IT WASN'T UNTIL HIS 10TH YEAR IN that he got the monster contract he has now that pays him THIRTY MIL a season. Yes He got a little more than most QB's today get off their rookie contract BUT he had TWO more years of development that QB's today don't get on their rookie contracts. For someone that throws out the "gee your not smart" maybe you should take your own advice and actually look at the contracts and then have someone help you to understand them.

I find it humorous that you hate your team's QB so much that you selectively include and exclude stats to paint a picture you want to see.

Go take your butt to the Eagles' board and root for Wentz.
I have been a Fan of the Cowboys for 36 yrs. (And Dak has only been here for 3 yrs) I dislike him should I leave for another team too.

2016 was our last chance for greatness. . . the idiots that be ( Garrett and Jones's) allowed it to slip through thier hands. The idiot fans were in full support of the Franchise wrecking decision.

Now The Cowboys have a QB that will never win anything. A long time Cowboy Fan who was crushed by the decision not abandon Romo (knowing the Window for a Championship is small)

After watching this game managing bus driver. (Still can't complete a pass inside the 10 yd line, all he does is run it in poaching TD's from Zeke, and padding his terrible stats)

Knowing how terrible Dak is and not seeing any room for improvement (because of his INHERIENT DEFICIENCIES.) All I can do is take comfort in Jerry dying before ever seeing a CHAMPIONSHIP.

Flacco is 10th at 22m a year
ASmith is 9th at 23m a year

Dak will get a 5/125 extension added to the 2m salary for 2019..... total 6/127 with 65m gtd at signing

Thank you for your reply to my post. That sounds like it's in the ballpark.

So that would be 21.16M average per year. I could live with that, because in a few years that's going to be super cheap for a starting QB.

I did take a look that’s how I know I’m right and you don’t know what you’re talking about. I didn’t come up with this out of thin air but I know you don’t want to be wrong so keep thinking you’re right smart guy.

Do you babble like this with everyone? Come back when you learn something.

Plain concise English isn’t babble. Another community college scholar posting non sense on this board. Y’all are mighty plentiful online I see. Learn what because I obviously know more than you on this topic which isn’t saying nothing. What else should I school your lack of qb contract details self on?

Hypothetically speaking. If fans are relying on a qb to lead a talentless team to the SB, they might need to find a therapist because that never happens. Newsflash: Football is a team sport.

Exactly. The TEAM has gotten worse to this point in the offseason. If we go into next year just as we are now, meaning no FA help and minus a couple of key players, it really won't matter if Dak plays like Aikman or Hutchinson.

I love the guy trying to insinuate Dak a 3 year player should be as good as Brady a 20 year guy. What kinda screwed up benchmark is that lol?

Look at Brady’s first 3 and Dak’s first 3. You’ll like what you see
I love Brady's first 3 years and if you don't I do not get it, year 2 super bowl win, playoffs, year 4 2nd superbowl, yeah I will take Brady's first 3 years you can keep Dak.

The more Dallas pays Dak, the more the "team" will play harder for Dak. Yay! less money spent in free agency for an actual difference maker the more we can give to dak. It's okay because he will just make everyone better around him.

I don't see why it's such a problem to make him play the final year of his rookie contract before deciding. While I believe in him, there are legitimate questions that need to be answered given the amount of cap it will take up. Let's see how he does with a year of Moore instead of Linehan. Surely he'll improve, so why would waiting be a problem?
Then you run into the Dlaw situation. Do that and if he plays well the price goes up even more. So you have to weigh both sides.

Screw it. Pay dak 40 mill per year. Make him the highest paid player. Add more insult to injury.

The price is the price. Dak didn't set it, the league did.
People say market value like because you are a QB that means you have to make as much as the best one. When I go to the fish market I'm not paying for Catfish like I do orange roughy they are two totally different fish. I'm going to pay dak like someone who is comparable. You dont pay for a cubic zirconia or a ruby like you do for a diamond. Dak should make in the low 20s nothing more than 22 mill.
