I'd like for Cobb and Cole Beasley to run a footrace.

This is a good signing considering it's just one year. If Dallas threw mad money at this guy I'd be concerned. But what's wrong with getting a smart, veteran slot receiver that is a fantastic route runner?
Yeah and this is all I want. I'm not want of these guys who just wants us to spend foolishly. We have a young team. Season some vets here and there to help the young guys out.

Pretty much seals Allen Hurns’s fate. Cutting him saves $5 million, though I don’t expect it to happen soon. My guess is they keep Hurns through camp as injury insurance, since his salary doesn’t guarantee until the 1st game.

Is Cobb that slow?

Go talk to a Packers fan, especially with him coming out of breaks and needing separation. He just got even slower as the year went on last year because, like Miles Austin, he has bad hamstrings among multiple other problems.

We're talking about a guy who was running a 4.46 when he was 20.

Not sure Hurns' spot on the roster is so secure now. Dallas kept him around just in case they couldn't find another slot option. Now they have one.

Yeah I don't know myself. Hurns is a good character guy. I'm not so sure they get rid of him. At least not anytime soon. I'm not sure about the perks of making him a June 1st cut or if there even is one.

Yeah I have my concerns about Dak but I'm more concerned with Garrett and Moore right now.

I think Dak has shown that he is at least a formidable QB, and he proved to me in the Seattle game that he's got what it takes, if he's got the right coach. The question is, can Garrett perform come playoff time? He proved to me in the Rams game that he can win us games in the regular season, but he's not a good playoff coach. He'd fit in well with teams like the Dolphins that rarely make the playoffs. I don't think he's what we need if we want to go to the next level, which we do.

You can't have enough speed on the field, and he wasn't good enough for even Aaron Rodgers. He's Miles Austin 2.0 with his hamstring issues.

There is little different with this signing and Hurns. We just got an older and slower player paired up now with an old and slow TE. I thought our offense was supposed to be needing speed? Wasn't that the entire point of the 2018 offseason?

Just a weird signing.

Cobb missed seven games last year. Given his stats in the nine he did play, he was on pace for a 67 catch, 680 yard season, which is about Beasley-esque for a number three receiver.

He's still faster than Witten, lol.

Nothing ridiculous about the poster that I can see. But I know Cobb is not as slow as Witten, LOL...
MatthewJames is notorious on this site for spewing garbage. He knows absolutely nothing about Cobb. He barely even watches Cowboy games so I wouldn't trust his judgement on a player he's never seen play before. He's probably relying on the opinion of someone on a Packers message board.

....140 of those yards came in one game.

He had two games over 40 yards the rest of the season. A 40 yard and a 43 yard game.
