"When he's healthy and playing for us, our offense is a lot different," Rodgers said. "We saw it couple years ago vs. the Giants where he came off some injuries and he had three touchdowns. That's what he can do for us. When he's out there, he's a tough guy to cover. He's done a number of things for us over the years and he's relatively young. He's a great friend of mine. I look for a resurgence from him as long he can stay healthy."

....and that's slow as hell. I posted that yesterday. Bad Bears D.

Watch the rest of the season - he can't get separation anymore. He also had another nagging injury upon many, another year older. He's slow as heck for a WR.

It's funny when people talk out of their butts.

Cobb had a better separation # than:

Thielen
Cooper
Kelce
Beasley
Baldwin
M. Thomas
Diggs
Cooks
Allen
Gronk
Brown
Hopkins
Jeffery
Julio
Hilton
Evans
Green
A. Robinson

This obviously isnt saying he's better than all of them, just that you have no idea whether he can get separation or not.

Whats the point of that tweet. Nelson and Cobb are both seriously on the decline. They have Adams and a bunch of talented young guys.
I think he's just brining them up because they were the face of that receiving group. When you think of Packers receivers I think of Donald Driver then Greg Jennings then the Cobb and Nelson era......sort of the end of a era.

MatthewJames is notorious on this site for spewing garbage. He knows absolutely nothing about Cobb. He barely even watches Cowboy games so I wouldn't trust his judgement on a player he's never seen play before. He's probably relying on the opinion of someone on a Packers message board.

Fair enough. But we're not asking Cobb to come in here and be an offensive savior. He's option 4 in the passing game after Cooper, Gallup, and Witten.
Witten better not be that high on the list.....but I think even Zeke in the passing game is going to be more of a option than Cobb. Solid 4th or 5th option.

Are you freakin' kidding me? First off, you're putting up Julio Jones, Diggs, hilton, Evans, Green, and Thomas who ALL go up against the BEST of the BEST corners every week. LOL

Who is next?

5 mil seems kind of steep for a pretty JAG-ish WR, but considering that Beasley is making nearly twice as much per season, I'll take it.

If Cobb can give us 2 catches for 20 yards a game like Beasley did down the stretch, that's a W in my book.

Great replacement for Beasley. Terrific run after catch receiver. Only concerned with Cobb is injuries.
